And you’ve guessed it right, I don’t have that car for I have the Merc S63 something as perorder bonus.
So how in the bleeting hell am I supposed to get that car to whiz in front’ oh my virtual camera ?
I was in the same situation, and I stumbled upon the GT350 preorder car while roaming about in the regular GT350. That is because the game puts the drivatards in cars similar to the one you’re driving.
You just need a bit of luck and a whole lot of patience.

Forgive my ignorance plus I need to check this for myself to confirm it, but can the pre-order cars be chosen as eligible cars when making a horzion blueprint?
That way, you can force the A.I. to drive that vehicle you need, then take a photo of the grid at the beginning.

Sadly that is not possible, as is buying them on the action house, that does not work either

I assumed that, because you could do that with the Horizon edition cars that you could also do it with the pre-order cars as well.
Although you said you had every other car snapped, so I should have figured as much to be honest.
All I can add really is just take Yardem Hane’s suggestion.
It’s not full proof, but it should happen eventually… hopefully.
Jump in the normal version and setup a race series using a car definition based on the car eg modern muscle. Start race and check the grid. If its not there quit abd start again.
I just did this and first race the preorder car showed up.
Did that several times to no avail
1: Upgrade one of the Ford Modern Muscle cars you own to a S1-900 class (be sure its a Ford…heck why not upgrade & use a regular Ford Shelby GT350R)
2: Create a blueprint race With Modern Muscle / Fords only.
3: The Ai will do its best to match the performance of the car you’re driving, so this will greatly increase the chance of the pre-order SHELBY GT350R car showing up since its an S1-900 level car.
