Xbox One X Scorpio Forza 7 graphic issues

So, in quite a few tracks (I can note Maple Valley, for example), I’ll be racing around 4k HDR on my LG 43", and there will be a specific spot where the game flashes to grayscale and back to normal seemingly a couple of times. No other game has an issue, just Forza 7 and just specific parts of the track and even if you take a specific line. It happens without fail and infact, if you select rain vs day it won’t happen. Anyone else seeing this?

Give us the exact location/locations so we can check too.

Maple Valley in “Syrup” turn. Take the suggested line.

I’ve taken suggested line all tracks both directions on maple valley and haven’t seen any graphic glitches on either 1x console I have.

Ive gone around this a few times now
Only thing i see is going round that corner is sun glare

I have the same tv… this happened to me once and only once… did some searching and found out that the HDMI cord I had been using was garbage… bought a new one and haven’t had this happen again since the Xbox x launched… ( this happened the first day) try a different HDMI cord… there are such things as low quality HDMI… just found that out…

Good point. I found a couple of inferior hdmi cables that were supposed to be 4k high speed once I tried using 4k or even hdr with a one s. I run all but one Xbox through a AV receiver so there’s more than just one cable to deal with at times.

Surely you would just use the HDMI that comes with the X1X

I’ll try a different cord then. TV is about 10+ feet from where Xbox One X/Receiver sits.

Thanks for the help guys, and again, for checking on your end. Funny enough that evening after some of the posts to change cable, the entire TV started flickering with anything on Xbox. Changed to another cable, no flickering but problem still exists. Mediabridge cable off Amazon, so I went ahead and ordered two new cables (To receiver, from receiver to TV) and will replace tomorrow when they arrive. This issue was present before adding the receiver, so fairly confident it’s not that.

Well hope your able to fix the issue… I no when it happen to me my heart skipped a beat… I had just bought my Xbox one x and then went out on Black Friday and bought the 43 lg 4K hdr10 when this happened… first thing I did was go online and saw the cable thing… replaced and not one issue since… I’m starting to think that the reciver may not be the problem but is helping with the issue… try first playing with out the reciver when u get the new cables… see if that helps first… then add the set up u want… but I would try the basic hook up first to make sure 100 percent that the problem is fix at the root of the problem… also I was just thinking… if u have some settings on the console that the tv doesn’t support it should tell you when u go into setting and check out video settings… also on the tv ( if it’s like mine) I had to go into the tv settings and manually set up my HDMI ports to support or turn on hdr and 4K. Apparently most TVs don’t do this on their own…
I’m sure u know all of this already… just trying to think of as much as I can to help u out… from some one who had this happen it sucks bad and if I can do to help someone not to gothrew it… I’ll do my best
