Playing on pc connected to HDR tv. When I use an Xbox One controller the game turns green. When the gamepad is off the game is fine. But I don’t want to play it with keyboard. I shut the game bar off thinking that was the issue no effect. Seems that the gamepad breaks HDR somehow. Fixes?

I have the same issue with HDR. As soon as I use any input on my wired 360 controller, the screen goes black and then comes back with no HDR. I’ve only gotten weird colors once. Alt-tabbing makes HDR turn on again, but as of now it’s impossible to play FH4 on Windows 10 with HDR and a controller.
I think the latest W10 october update created the issue, has something to do how the october update handles HDR. I didn’t have the same issue with Forza Motorsport 7 or Forza Horizon 3.
I tried the game as a demo and bought Xbox game pass to try out the game some more, but when I realized that the screen going black when I use my controller in fact turns off HDR, I stopped playing. This combined with the Teredo issue where I can’t play online makes me not wanna buy the game. I would’ve bought the game, but if this isn’t solved I won’t unfortunately.
