Like the title says, I am using an XBONE Controller for my PC games and apparently since day1 Forza 6 Apex had full support for it. I liked a lot the fact that there are in-trigger vibrators (I don’t own a xbox one console) and this was the 1st game I experienced that and I really loved it. Since the latest patch, it seems that the vibration of the controller overall has gone down by a lot and the triggers vibrators are not working in this game. The controller is fine, I tested it on the new Halo Forge for Windows 10 and everything works like it should but Forza somehow broken itself. Anyone else having the same troubles?
The trigger vibration has never worked at all for a lot of us using wireless: http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst67287_Xbox-One-S-Controller-via-Bluetooth-No-rumble-and-Impulse-triggers.aspx
So it does seem like a problem inherent to Forza or Windows in general with no fix in sight. Not like it really matters if it is a Windows issue because no one outside of UWP devs can actually access the API to use the trigger rumble in their games, anyway. So only a small handful can even make use of them in the first place.
Impulse triggers still function for me over USB in Forza Apex, though. Try to restart your PC and reconnect your controller.
Tried all that but still nothing, they don’t seem to be having vibrations for me. The rest of the controller has vibration just not the triggers. I have been playing only with a cable on PC and it was working fine till a few days ago, didn’t change anything at all.
Don’t really know what the problem was but I found out the my custom controller layout in game for some weird reason had the triggers vibration not working while the rest of the controller vibration was working. I just deleted the custom controller and created a new one with the same setup I like and the problem is solved. Don’t really know what caused that since I literally changed nothing but whatever I guess.
