XBOX Anywhere: Co-op me and my gf, 1 game 2 platform

Hi Guys,

I wanna ask something about the xbox anywhere. I wanna play with my gf, she’ll play on my xbox and ill play on pc. Im thinking of buying another copy but if both of us can play under one game, i can save 60 for another game.

1st q: is the mp cross platform?

2nd q: if it is, is it possible for her to play on the xbox and ill play on the pc eventhough we only have one copy of the frza game.

I haven’t tried it but if you have your console set as home she should be able to play with her gamertag on Xbox while you are logged into your own on PC.

As long as you buy the digital edition you can do this
As long as your PC is capable of playing it

I have mine setup so it can play exactly as you were wanting
1 profile/gamertag on PC and another on Xbone

Hang on, how do you share one copy of a digital game if both accounts don’t own it?

I play on PC and XB1 and if I could set this up for my friends when they come by, it would be great, but I don’t want to invest in something like this for only occasional use.

One of the big constraints as well is XB Live Gold to play MP from the XB1.

Have the gamertag that owns the game and has gold set as the home console
It shares to other gamertags on that console only

IF you are asking if you will be able to play “at the same time”, no, you will not be able to do it. You will get an error telling you that you are playing the game elsewhere.

You will only get this error if using the same gamertag to play on both platforms but if you have the profile that owns the game set as a home xbox even logged out you can sign in with a 2nd profile and have access to the game on xbox one and then log into windows 10 with the main profile(one that owns the game) and play cross play - currently doing it this way with my child so 100% confirm it works just make sure main profile that owns game is signed out on the xbox console to stop this error happening
