Yes, this is an old wheel… Yes it still works with everything (Even rumble works with games that support Xinput - Proj Cars, AC)… Except FM6 Apex (Beta), pre and post 2.5.
My older 360 wireless controller functions perfectly (save it’s a controller).
Can you guys possibly flip a switch somewhere, and add a one in place of a zero, and get this functioning as it should on the next patch? And please adjust the same dials to get this working in Horizon 3?
Again, I know it’s old (3rd time I’ve used that term), but it still works. Sure, I’ll buy a new wheel… When I need it, when this one no longer works. I’m sure I can’t be the only bloke out there that still uses a 9 year old wheel…
They don’t support the 360 wheel with the dongle for Forza. They did once say that may change but I doubt it. I would be great to be able to use it since it is a wheel like any other and you aren’t using it on the One anyway. We know that won’t change. I have always found it ridiculous that the old controllers don’t work on a new console. They just want you to spend money. All my 360 controllers still work. On my 3rd One controller. My 360 wheel is basically brand new sitting in a closet.
I would like this as well. Recently pulled mine out of the closet (still like new) to play some older 360 games. Wish it would work with these new games on PC.
Yes, I too hope that someone on the development team finds a relatively simple way to include support for this wheel.
It would be a great gesture to long-time Microsoft racing fans.
Actually as long as you browse the menus with a keyboard, the wheel works during the race. Just in the pre-race menu, select the wheel as input and accept with the keyboard. During the race, the wheel and the pedal works. The problem is any of the buttons are mapped properly, so using a,b,x,y buttons are out of question. In the only race I tried the wheel, the clutch setting was on auto, so I didn’t try the shifter buttons at the back of the wheel. But, I guess they would also work.
The force feedback is out of question though.
I hope they would support this. It is Microsoft’s own product, so it is shame that it is not supported at all…
