So I am trying to use the 360 speed wheel (which is the wireless wheel) with forza 6 apex, but it is not recognizing any of the inputs. Other games can use the speed wheel, but forza 6 is the only game that is not…and they are both Microsoft products. Also my regular 360 wheel works fine.
I have the same wheel. it’s a matter of the game recognizing that wheel as a valid input option. they specifically exclude it and have nothing implemented… yet. we may need to wait for the creator’s update for more wheels.
they said a while back maybe the 360 wheel in the future would be added but that was when apex first came out so I would not count on it. It doesn’t work on the One either.
Hello,
Your wheel is fully supported. Please check this thread: https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst87262_-UPDATED--12-2-2017---Forza-UniController--Full-support-for-DFGT--DFP--G29-and-Shifter--F430-etc.aspx
However, currently there is a bug in Forza Apex if you set up a new custom wheel profile. For everything to work correctly do this:
- In input options choose default wheel profile and then click on CUSTOMIZE.
- It will bring you to another screen where you can bind controls.
- Once you’ve done it, save it with another name.
Have fun!
