See title. Forza Horizon 5 is closing in to 900 cars now. It could hit 1000 when FH6 comes out if they keep this rate up.
One often heard complaint of Forza is the lack of customization. They do address this with new cars that have a couple of bodykits added but it’s still a big difference with games like Need for Speed.
That game series has much fewer cars but much more elaborate customization.
So what do the Forza players think is more preferable? More cars and less customization? Or fewer with more customization?
Think I’ll prefer Quality over quantity. Because I do not want to see 20-year-old car models being reused in a newer Forza game, we are all not living in 2008 anymore. We’re all in 2024 and all these car models should be extremely accurate just like their real life appearances. More or less, just as photorealistic like GT7’s car models.
Heh, 9 cars have been confirmed to be remodeled already, and those remodels will be first seen in FH6 most likely.
Silvia S15
Skyline R32
AE86 Trueno
RX-7 FD
Lancer Evo VI
Focus RS Mk1
Ferrari 575M
BMW M3 E30
Viper GTS ACR
Hope there’ll be a next batch of Pre-Xbox One car models to be remodeled & scanned.
Personally for me its quantity as I prefer my cars to look stock. Some design blips are ok with me if that means I will get the chance to see cars I never will irl. That being said if they were able to allow you to further change specific components (especially forza aero spoilers) that alone would make a huge impact
Yes, to me that seems the best solution for Forza’s car model problem. Like they stated themselves; new car models can only be added to games that don’t have them yet. Come to think of it, that may be the reason why Motorsport has so many cut cars.
For FH6 they can release it with fewer, but properly modeled cars and then add newly rebuild cars over time. It’s a nice opportunity to seek some nice bodykits for them at the same time.
You mean the kind of inaccuracies found on earlier Xbox One cars and not straight up body deformation which plagued FM1-FH1 models? Because the latter is unacceptable in any game released after 2013
Quality versus Quantity, for me, is wholly linked to model accuracy. The AMG Hammer Mercs are not good. Nor are a number of Nissans. And so on.
I would however be uncomfortable if in some ‘quality sweep’ I lost a car like the '81 Fiesta for example. Or the Renault 5L. It’s these ‘off-the-beaten track’ type cars that gives this game its charm for me.
So, yeah, quality but I’m just a bit cautious too. I don’t want to lose a lump of eccentric cars to hypercars and featureless electric cars. Electrics cars being the fashionable industry thing to retain in this game.
I do welcome customisation options. But piecemeal customisation/bodykits can be quite frustrating for livery designers. Just something to bear in mind.
Bodykits are not everything…if forza needs to improve they should work on interior customizations…I’m talking about the actual visual support for weight reductions which no one cares about here…they just use it n think production cars are the best…silliest thing about this community…if forza still continues to do nothing to support this particular option, they should remove it from the game. I seriously wanna see them racing without this…
i want more cars for the region where the festival is located like a lot more. i had issue with current horizon with hardly any cars built or for the region of Mexico. You could have easily gotten more cars from Mexico hell all the ram products are built in Mexico lol and plenty of Baja stuff could have been used. If the game is based in Germany have a lot more cars added or leaned toward that location make it the location mean something like how FH3 did and even FH4.
