I can’t believe the 2018 GT2 understeers like if ONLY the front wheels are being powered
Polaris of course. When you make a sharp turn the front tire closer to the apex literally lifts off the ground, makes you lose control of the car and then BAM you kiss the barrier.

Because of this I’ve yet to complete a single race with this car…
As for the Porsches I don’t find them that hard to drive, you just need to apply more throttle control, you can’t simply use full throttle all the time like you do with other cars. And if you find the 18 GT2 RS hard to drive, wait until you try the 12 GT2 RS hehe
Agreed, that career event for the Polaris (in the very first cup no less) is probably the single most annoying set of races in the entire game. The Ariel Nomad is close behind, it has somewhat better (but still not good) handling, but it’s open wheel which brings its own set of issues with the AI bumper car behavior. Really wish we had a set of dirt or stadium tracks for these types of vehicles that would actually take advantage of their offroad suspension and tires instead of having them be a constant liability.
Also found that the open wheel championship was in the same boat. Cars don’t have particularly good handling at all, and when the AI runs into you there’s a high chance of getting tangled with them.
Noticed that too. Easily correctable, drop ride height as low as possible and stiffen up the springs then it will handle like the AIs cars. Stupid event in the career but its easy enough once you make those changes
We races these in NEATV mx series in the northeast. These guy two wheel and flip these thing every races. They are designed to handle good at 40mph in rough offroad conditions. If you were to drive one 80mph+ they would be unstable. They are too tall and the suspension too soft.
Lancia Stratos Gr B is the sh**** car I’ve ever driven in a game. It does not turn nor has any notion of grip. It’s just built for achieving a top speed record, or drive you proper mad because of its uselessness. Seriously. It handles like a drunk Russian trying to steer a boat on a 120 mph stormy night
To me, Porsches are way too forgiving in this game. Specially the old ones. Except for the GT2 featured in the demo, which I honestly feel it’s broken.
I have to say the Land Rover (the oldest one). It has no suspension travel at all. The tires clip through the tarmac instead. that car defies the laws of physics to the point were it’s hard to defend SUV being in this game. Yes; I love SUV’s too. They are cars as well, and I love cars. Trophy trucks and buggies; yeah, those have absolutely no place in a FM title.
I actually enjoyed running in the ultima and the f1 car all assists off apart from ABS on controller, They are torque monsters for sure but it is manageable. Just gotta be willing to switch up the driving style to accommodate for it.
The stock Fiesta ST is by far the worst car I’ve used.
1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 give me fits…
I am curious if anybody else has trouble with this one…I can’t seem to get it to do what I want on stock tires at all and when it is in the non tuned generic set up for its class it seem to nose dive when braking but maybe I am alone on this one.
