Will this laptop run this game?

Looking to buy a new gaming laptop and found the ASUS ROG G752VY, it has a i7-6700HQ, GTX980M with 4GB and 16GB of ram, would this be good enough to play on high settings with a 1920x720 resolution?

It should work; please refer to some other topics concerning having the latest drivers as well as the latest Windows 10 build as well as disabling ANY IGP in the BIOS.

of course, I have an ASUS RoG G752VT and has the exact same specs except mine has the 970M instead of the 980M you have (so jealous hehe) but yea should run the game on ultra since mine runs on ultra, just don’t mess with the Anti-Aliasing too much, keep it at 4x or even 2x
mine runs on Ultra at 1080p60fps without any frame drops so you should do just fine, just make sure you have Windows updated and also make sure you have the latest Nvidia Drivers

Do tou have some necessity for a laptop? You are literally paying double for the hardware to get a laptop over a desktop and then u are basically losing the besr part about pc over console, upgradability

Some people enjoy a laptop more for some reason, there’s just something about alot of power in a small somewhat light portable device that feels good. I know its a bit weird but yea depends if money isn’t an issue for him, if he can simply spend 2 grand on a laptop then I think he can afford to get another one a couple years down the line lol
and from the looks of it laptops are getting better and better every year.

but yea you’re right Desktops are overall going to be the better option for gaming when it comes to maxing out every setting and getting really high framerate, I do plan on making a build of my own in the future, something that can do 1440p @ 144fps would be the perfect setup for me, 4K doesn’t bother me much imo, maybe in 10 years it will matter but for now 4K is obsolete to me

I have a laptop with the spec below and it runs pretty well on high at 1080p, though I get a little stuttering on the default high setting so am trying to tweak the individual settings a little, but if you have a GTX980M should be even better:

XMG P505 (re-branded Clevo P651SE) - Intel Core i7-4720HQ Quad Core@2.60GHz 6MB cache, Nvidia Geforce 970M 3GB GDDR5, Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3L RAM @2133Mhz
