Just got in about 30mins, and it seems to run really well. There is no FPS counter yet, but pretty sure I am getting a constant 60 fps with default (HIGH) settings. The game seems to dynamically scale graphics to keep a smooth 60fps options according to the options menu. I have not noticed any changes at all so I guess that is a good thing. Xbox one controller works great and the triggers vibrate too. I did flip the switch to scale to Ultra settings (the one above high) and then I got huge drops, so went back to high. High only seemed to use 60% of my GPU and 30% CPU, on ultra it went up to 99% GPU. High used upto 8gb of ram and ultra up to 12gb.
I’m loving this too man, and i’m getting some great numbers as well. Although the game does seem to hang in the transitions between races and ultimately crash after 4-5 races. However once your in the performance in races is solid. I’m gonna mess with some overlays and see if i can’t get a reliable fps average between the different settings.
have you installed the latested nvidia driver with forza support?
I always thought a 970 is similar fast as a 780 … i ve playing for over 2 hours in ultra, 780 @ 1180Mhz, 4770k @ 4.7 Ghz, 16 GB RAM, …it runs very very smooth! Much better then Gears of War, the dev´s done a good work!
I was wondering about the trigger vibrate on the Xbox One controllers. Most games don’t support the haptic feedback on the triggers. Too bad I already returned my One controller since I decided to stick with my old 360 controller because of that.
I’m running high graphics with the resolution at 1920x1200. The resolution maxes out at 1650x1050 if I try to run on ultra since I ‘only’ have 8 GB of RAM lol.
I havent tried it yet, but on another post a guy said that he compared the Xbone with the pc on max settings and he’s impressed… I wont be able to play it tonight, but tomorrow. I cannot wait to run it on my 980s. Sadly SLI is not supported yet but i’ve heard that the game is smooth enough and no problems at all…
