Widebody tips and tricks

Carried this of from FM5. Hopefully other will add to this.
This is very basic starting point on how to do wide fender. 75% of my fenders star off like this.

  1. Start off with a light color car. (white/yellow/pink)

  2. Go to paint booth and select this shape from the Gradient Shape tab. (make it and east to see color that contrast the color of the car)

You will us this shape 2-3 times. (I used it 3x on this car)

  3. Now Change them all to the same color as the car. (in this case they would be white)
  4. Now select this from the Gradient Shapes (Should be a dark version of the cars base color) In the case black or dark grey will work.

  5. Now place it behind the original 3 layers dead center.

6.Now all you have to do is blend it in buy making it lighter and mask off the areas to your liking. (The rear bumper and side skirt)

Super basic but effective. Hopefully others will add this. Good night.
