A few questions

I made a few paints today and it seems easier than I had ever thought, but I had a few questions.

  1. I noticed on my '32 Ford thumbnail, it shows the full fendered car and not the Hot Rod with no fenders. Is there a reason or way to correct this?
  2. Are there any good tutorials or videos out there with some tips for a fledging artist like me?

This all started because an older paint I made for fun for the Reliant SuperVan has 400 downloads now and I have a small following, lol This is new to me.

  1. I’m not 100% sure but the way I try to make sure it is displaying the design with the tuning options correctly is as following.

Create the tune → go out on the street and drive a couple meters → enter the house again → save the tune with name → go out on the street and drive a couple meters → enter the house again → upload the tune → go out on the street and drive a couple meters → enter the house again → upload the design

That’s a little complicated and may not be the best solution but this way it’s working 99,9% for me.

  1. There’s a good tutorial in the FH4 paint booth.

You can also find various tutorials on youtube. Just search for “Forza design tutorial”.

There is an easier method Plage.
Someone asked the same thing a couple of days ago, see this thread, hope it helps :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks Dubh. I think I did that, but I’ll check it again later.

Thanks for the input but your way doesn’t always seems to work. The cumbersome way I described seems to work better but still isn’t guaranteed. That’s at least the case for me on PC.

That’s interesting
Not surprised though, there seem to be plenty of discrepancies between how the game works on different platforms - I didn’t think to specify before but I’m on the Xbox One X console & can guarantee it works on that.

You can’t paint it then save design to car anymore to update the thumbnail? Always worked that way in prior titles.
