I wanted the community’s opinion on this one since I’ve never tested it myself.
On most, if not all the wide body kits on the cars in forza 7, there’s no option to have a front splitter which means you can’t adjust the downforce while tuning the car, but an advantage you get is bigger tires in the front and the back.
My question is; what’s better for handling? I realize the answer won’t apply to every widebody car in the game and can depend on how the car is tuned, but I’m just looking for an overall answer that can broadly apply to most cars. For instance, I’m building the Mazda rx7 for S class and I can’t decide whether I should use the widebody or front aero.
In FM7 the wide body kits are adjustable. The same kits from Horizon3, which were not adjustable. But apparently did have a down force value. You can verify this when adjusting the setups. Top speed was lower with the body kit installed, much like using the Forza wings affected top speed values. Now I’m not sure if evrey body kit is adjustable because I havent used every single car equipped in the game. But the 2016 Mustang FE, Ford GT FE, and Camaro all have adjustment for front and rear wings. Also, these cars have no provision for removability. The FE cars are winged and cannot be changed…Charles
