Why was I gifted a 1977 Holden Torana A9X from T10?

Jut wondering, seems so random.

EDIT: n/m, I just got in it and noticed a Holiday Livery. It looked like a standard paint job in the garage.

Gift Car: 1977 Holden Torana A9X with Happy Holidays livery

These two Holden Toranas were gifted to all players (green), and VIPs (black) on December 16, 2016. Both “Happy Holidays” knit sweater theme liveries were painted by Little Vixen. To collect these gifts, go to your in-game Message Center and Download the gift to your garage.

The designs are not native to the car, so if you remove the livery by attempting to paint the car, you won’t be able to recover it.

The cars may not show the liveries in the preview window in your garage. They can be identified by the “NEW” icon on the preview box. Buying and installing an upgrade part such as wider tires may make the livery show up in preview.

Nice job on both these liveries. Definitely my favourite ones on gifted cars so far in FH3.

That silly garage preview bug should be fixed.

The gifts are filling up my garage and are almost impossible to sell. The AH is still flooded with Raptors and NSXs and nobody wants them. T10/PG should give us the possibility to take them out of the garage for half the prize. I had to remove the Toranas, NSX and Raptors out of my garage because I had no slots left.
Next time I won’t download the gifts. You hardly get rid of them.

there is an option to “remove from garage”… I purchased a pagani huyra BC (or however you spell it) by accident… I must of listed it for sale 300 times and no bites. So out of frustration I used the “remove from garage” option. I was curious what would happen or where it would go or if you could get it back. After a week or so and auction notice popped up saying my BC sold. Not sure if that was a total fluke or when you remove it from garage it goes to auction. I never tried twice so I could be totally wrong.

And? I would still like the livery to be a design that I can apply to the car that I already own whenever I want compared to a duplicate car that I’m stuck with.

So change it. You’re not stuck with anything sent you for free, but if you remove the livery it will be gone forever.

Monthly reward cars are a paid VIP feature. Hardly free…

Save the tune and setup of your owned Torana. Apply those to the VIP Torana. Now they are applied to your owned Torana.

I don’t mean to be rude but why do we get 2 cars? Why not just put both liveries on 1 car …one on each side …a 50/50 split down the middle?
Also it “bugs” me (he he) that I have to add a spoiler or something to see the preview properly. This must be fixable yes?

That’s right I forgot the ViP thingy but how do I tell which one is the ViP one? LOL
Okay so after removing the rear bumper which actually looks great (good tip - only costs 90 cr) I can now see both cars in preview with the xmas liveries.

The black one is the VIP one, it has the VIP crown on the front fender.
