Why not more Mexican cars?

Why not more Mexican cars, being that the game is set in Mexico?

When the USA stopped making large displacement engines due to fuel costs and environmental concerns, Mexico did not care. They purchased many of these already made Detroit engines and created what in Mexico is called Frankenstein cars. For example everyone knows of the Dodge Super Bee, it’s already in the game, well the 1970 version is anyhow. Dodge made the Super Bee in the USA until 1971, but did you know there was a a Super Bee in Mexico right up until 1980? The Valiant Super Bee was exclusive to Mexico. Pushing 275hp which was easily adjusted to 300hp and beyond.

Then there was the 1981-1982 Dodge/Valiant Magnum.

I know all you car experts are screaming “That’s a Dodge Diplomat!” and you are wrong, although it does share a lot of parts with the Diplomat this has a 360ci V8 Pushing 300hp. There is also pieces of Plymouth Gran Fury, Chrysler LeBarron, and Plymouth Caravelle Saloon, in this car, hence the term Frankenstein car.

There is a long list of these cars, not to mention an exclusive company known as Vehículos Automotores Mexicanos or (VAM) for short. This company used a lot of AMC stock to create these cars, generally they had far more horsepower than the AMX/AMC cars.

So come on people, let’s actually have some Mexican cars in this game.
