Yeah I was disappointed with the 2015 BMW M4. It really bogs down over 100 miles per hour when accelerating. This car should be in the neighborhood of 180 mph top speed and struggles to get past 160 mph. Something is definitely off with the performance modeling of the car.

Done some more testing tonight with the M4 vs e92 M3 with less power and more weight and no matter what I do with the build or gears the M3 walked away every time.
Even with 500+hp it feels and goes more like a 435i
I found an interesting article on Jalopniks website. It explains how the developers do their own dyno testing, parts-weighing, etc. because the data they get from manufacturers is relatively unusable to make in-game cars. I’m guessing this could explain why in-game car specs often times differ from the car specs that are available from other sources.

Well that makes sense but what dosent in any way is how it’s so slow. In real world the M4 leaves the old M3 for dead . However I’m horizon that simply isn’t the case. I’m sure it’s just broken which is such a shame. As it looks mean but just can’t match it’s looks with performance
Yeah I sorta…hate it. Dreadfully slow, even the retro BMWs kick more horse than this does and the worst thing is, it is on one of the hardest bucket list challenges. It IS my very last bucket list and I have been unsuccessful for three whole days trying to get it to hit 105kmh…if that challenge was to have used a different vehicle it would’ve been much better. Hell even the G-Shock speed trap was slightly easier than this.
M3 over the new M4 anyday…in-game of course.
If Turn 10 was to tweak with the M4 settings I reckon the Sisteron speed trap bucketlist (#9) wouldn’t be impossible.
T10 dont need to tweak the M4 just Fix it. We ran STOCK m3 e92 vs m4 and the M4 just dosent move. And look at any sources/videos you wish. An m4 will eat an e92 in stock form.
It’s horrible as I was so looking forward to that car and I can’t drive it or ill just end up at the back!
For the bucket list don’t follow Anna. From the car park cut straight across. All the way til the end then turn right into the “snake” you’ll approach it from uphill and have a little gravity on your side!
