Menus are very clunky. Some of the worst and most unintuitive in the series.
Let’s say I want to leave a rivals or online race and upgrade and paint my car. I can go back to the main menu. When I select design and paint, I have to reselect my car, then I can paint. Now I go back to the menu to upgrade. I have to reselect my car again. Now I can upgrade.
Now back to the race, and I have to reselect the same car again.
The other games weren’t like this. The car you were currently driving was always selected in the main menu. That way whatever you wanted to do, you wouldn’t have to scroll through the car list and reselect the vehicle.
I haven’t seen others talking about this but I feel this is the most annoying thing I’ve delt with this game besides the half finished graphics.
What do you all think? Is the main menu a step back from other games? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills just trying to do basic stuff here.
Mirroring vinyls is still broken as it was in other games but that’s a whole nother topic.

Same, man. I noticed this problem immediately, I thought I was going crazy. The QA for this game must be nonexistent.

Yes, it’s totally annoying. I do only have few cars and its a pain in the ass, cannot imagine when my garage grows.
You cannot also filter by cars marked as favorites, so this will be terrible with a great collection of cars
