Why can't we use the cars from the fast and furious pack and other cars in career mode?

Sorry if it’s been answered but I’ve been looking for information everywhere and can’t find anything on this topic. I bought the f&f pack thinking I would be using those awesome cars in career mode only to find out its not possible. Is there any information on whether turn 10 has any plans of making them usable in career mode or not? Thanks to anyone with any information.

the bigger problem is why are they allowed online? there is only one reason people pick that tank, and its not to have the fastest laps. you can use them in freeplay and set the same conditions that the career races have so you can simulate it if you really want to experience it. as for the future plans to include them or not i have no idea.

Thanks, I’ll give that a try, better than nothing, just unexpected. I wouldn’t have bought the pack had I known, but atleast they are usable to some extent.

Yeah, what a bunch of crap… I mean the pack was a part of Day One… how can it not be allowed in Career mode?

I guess I will ask here, does the F&F pack count as paid dlc? I bought it and no paid dlc is showing in FM6.

For some reason it takes a few days to sync…but it should count

only meant for illegal street races… horizon 2… and forza 6 all about modifications stock cars need not apply! :stuck_out_tongue:

Really?!?!?!? You can’t use them in career mode?!?!?! I don’t say much bad about this game, put that is pure, unadulterated garbage. Just what the HELL are we supposed to use them for, then? I mean, if you aren’t interested in the smash-fest that is multiplayer? This makes no freaking sense, and it really pisses me off. I’m dead serious. That is a silly, silly decision.

At least it came as part of my Ultimate Edition, but still burns me up.

The only car in the FF pack I care about kinda is the R34 GTR, so it’s def. a drag we can’t use it in career.

What about after the career opens up after chapter 5, can you use them then?

probably , but no one that asks these things has played that far yet

You can’t use them after the last volume still, the series are all the same, you can just choose to do any of them.

I can use them in multiplayer.

Aren’t most of them just too high of a PI for the races the kind of car each one is would be allowed to race in career mode?

Maybe there’s something else that prevents them from being used, I’m not sure since I just unlocked the 2nd chapter, but that would seem to be a big part of why you can’t use them. Which, wouldn’t really be an intentional move to not let you use them, it’s just how it works out with cars that are basically pre modified.

This makes a lot of sense.

This.

The cars in question are all far more powerful than the rest of the cars that would fit in the same classes as the base cars these monstrosities are based upon.

But the PI on the F&F cars can be changed to how you want them so they can be made legal for a certain class.

Can you decrease it though? A lot of the F&F cars are too high for the races they might otherwise fit into. Especially the classic cars.

Actually, I hit up manteomax’s spreadsheet to see what it might reveal about this. All of the career mode races lock your car selection to a certain division so far that I have seen. None of the Fast and Furious cars are classified with a division (according to his spreadsheet). So, even if the PI restrictions allow one, without a division the division restrictions of the races would still keep you from using the F&F cars. Based on the lack of a division placement, the F&F cars aren’t the only ones you can’t use in career mode. Although I’m not sure Manteomax’s spreadsheet is 100% accurate with that column. There are cars with a ? for division that I’ve seen as cars I could use in Career Mode.

I’d imagine this to be the most likely reason.

There’s a few daft career exclusions, for instance I believe the Toyota GT86 can’t be used in any of the series, yet the BRZ can be (I may have that the wrong way around)
