Why Can't I Elect NOT To Sign Radio Station?

I have the two or three radio stations signed that I want to listen to. Why can’t I escape or back out of the menu where I need to sign a radio station and decide not to? If this is my festival and I decide I’m satisfied with the radio stations I have, then let me continue without signing any more.

Back button isn’t working. Even menu button or anything else but signing the next radio station isn’t working. At that point the only option I have is to quit the game and then the very next time I play I’m back at that screen forcing me to sign yet another radio station.

INFURIATING!!!

Or you can just sign them, and choose not to listen to them, like everyone else. This truly shouldn’t be a problem.

I found the best radio station is ‘radio off’ all the other radio stations are crap.

wow you guys are exciting. Is it really that bad to have to scroll through a handful of extra radio stations? Or better yet just keep it on one station? Stop being so negative they just added a bunch of variety to make everyone happy and instantly you guys are like nah we should be able to get rid off it. Who cares

If you’re changing radio stations enough that this becomes a serious problem you should probably just keep the radio stations turned off altogether.

Except that the radio doesn’t stay off. Certain events turn it back on. In particular, certain timed events so you either have to put up with the radio or lose several seconds while you fiddle with the radio.

And yes, for some of us it is a total pain. I am happy for most of you who enjoy this, but there are those who don’t. No need to brush this issue off like it is of no consequence just because it doesn’t affect you.

It’s actually really annoying if you have the notifications turned off. You can’t see which station it’s on, so you have to keep clicking the D-pad and listening to find the right station or turn the radio off while you’re trying to drive.

Turning the notifications on brings up the stupid (and completely redundant) skill chain XP notification that comes up every time you do anything. Drove at a certain speed? Skill chain! Drove past a car? Skill chain! Bumped into a car? Skill chain! Hit a shrub? Skill chain! Did a little drift? Skill chain! Inhaled? Skill chain! Exhaled? Skill chain!

I really fail to see how this is such a major issue. Just sign the stations, and only use the one or two you like.

For you, no.

For others of us, yes. I don’t want any music ever. I can deal with turning it off once, but they shouldn’t keep turning it back on, especially at inopportune time (as I described above).

This, along with not being able to permanently disable Anna are the two worst ‘features’ of this otherwise very outstanding game.

Settings, music, radio off = yes.

I keep getting credits and wheel spin cars after my races. I am perfectly happy with my current cash flow and current cars. Please stop forcing credits and cars on to us. We need an option to stop this immediately. Infuriating!

It’s Keira’s festival, dude. That private jet in the intro? Keira came in on that, not you. All the times Keira says “let me worry about the details…” Yup. It’s her show, you’re just the hotshot driver endorsing it. Keira decided you should sign these stations. She’s generously allowing you to choose the order you sign them in.

Not a game breaker for me but I wish I could remove stations from my list. I listen to a couple but don’t want to listen to the others.

Radio = OFF
Tires and Engine audio to max, all the others to like 2 or 3.

Just turn the radio off. Use music that you slect via the Xbox, instead of music they select through the app.

For me, the engine sounds are music enough.

I still dislike that when you are near festival sights you can still hear the music, I am trying to test exhaust upgrade sounds (so far, nada differences again, boo!) and other sounds but cant coz of the tunes.

Sometimes, i have to fast travel to the airport, and join a private online session just to get away from the darn drivatars at times too lol.
