Help me understand why there will be new accolades to achieve when people are clearly modding/cheating the accolade leaderboards.
10,000,000 accolade points dominant in top 900~ish.
I played this game since launch (Motorsport 1) and have had my fair share of disappointments and “leaving this game forever.”
No, I won’t leave the game, but I ask the question of why add a few more accolade points when there is so much trouble removing the cheaters from leaderboards?

I don’t believe for a second that accolades leaderboards will ever be a globally valid list. It’s tainted too badly.
Maybe if you limit it to club and/or friends level, it kind of shows your standing better. Or you find cheaters there too, who knows.
Bottom line: No cleaners are coming and the accolades score is effectively meaningful to just you personally.
It has been at a point where the (completely pointless) cheating on the accolade leaderboard was minimal. I was about 45th for many months, and did no cheating to be there. Then this silliness kicked off.
Accolade points and Kudos . . . useful for . . . what, having a number on a screen I suppose.

it’s not even modding/cheating on the hof leaderboard
it’s broken accolades that were repeatable for months. some people don’t even know they did it, but most do, and they’re (expletive)

I understand your frustration, DjAladdinUSA. It’s disappointing to see new accolades added when leaderboard issues with cheating remain unresolved. It might be more effective to address these issues first to ensure a fair competitive environment before introducing additional accolades.

I did investigate the repeating accolades and maintain there was always an intention for that to be a “thing” but it doesn’t work quite right (quelle surprise). My only interest ws figuring out how it worked, which I believe I did.
I found it possible to collect 7950 accolade points per week. At that rate of point-collection we’re talking 20 years to get to 10 million.
When the current nonsense kicked off there were something like 100 scores of 10 million appearing every week or two, from nowhere.
I’m maybe slightly over the possible score for doing everything once but I know I did it in a completely legitimate fashion so when I was in the top 50 that was certainly do-able.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I was under the impression that PG had patched FH5 so that players can no longer receive duplicate rewards from Accolades.
There are hundreds of folks on the HoF leaderboard with scores of 10,000,000 (these began to appear in May 2024). These scores were likely not achieved through gameplay.
even if they stopped it, they didn’t take the points away from anyone. hof laderboard has been a joke for over 2 years since I was in the top 200, I haven’t even looked at it in idk how long. people I know personally had completed far fewer accolades than me but had more points. the only two I don’t have are one eliminator and the hall of fame completion
I hope PG has learned from this and other related problems that entirely server-side save systems are the way to go with FH6, at least for progression (custom liveries are probably the biggest data hog here).
An ideal fix for the Hall of Fame Leaderboard would require a complete data set of all users and their legitimate Accolades with timestamps, as well as some period of downtime to freeze new data from coming in. As long as FH5 supports offline progression, this seems like it would be impossible.

Can you provide just one verifiable example of any action in the current game that will award Accolade points after the Accolade has already been completed?
do the tulum expedition, taking a picture of the jade statue gives 100 accolade points (as does taking a picture of the golden statue)

I don’t understand what you mean there. You asked for an example, I gave you an example. I have not tried to repeat it recently and have no intention of doing that. It’s very easy to check if it works; perhaps you did, it’s unclear.
