Hopefully this is the post that finally gets thru without being locked!! I’m a car nut, I like to take factory cars to the limit, just to see wut they can do against other factory cars. I kind of make believe I can afford them and im taking them out for test drives to see which one I should buy, like its real… like I said a car nut. Most of my times on the leaderboards are from stock cars, and there pretty good I might say for not having a tune. If anyone else likes to race and compare factory spec cars add me.
Dude! I thought I was the only one who felt this way!
I used to drive cars stock all the time, because it felt good mastering it’s imperfections without being tuned and upgraded. Plus, it makes you a better player.
When I buy or drive a car that’s stock, it feels like i’m driving the car at it’s natural level, straight from the dealer, not full to the brim with over powered upgrades, racing slicks, and racing spoilers just to make it competitive.
The reason why I stopped driving cars stock, was because I was starting to get in a vicious mindset where I can drive any car flawlessly, stock or not, and that was robbing me of my pleasure and fun. Now, I just play the way that makes me feel the best
I already replied to your previous topic in the Forza 5 dissucsion I believe. Do you have forza 4?
I do!
I do!
they told me to move it… I got forza 5, 4 ,3 2,1 and all the gran turismos…i switch between gt6 and fm5, sometimes i play fm4 if i wanna get my Porsche fix!!
yea i can care less about top 50 or wutever leaderboard times, to me ripping a bone stock 430 scuderia thru the turns in spa is way more fun, then hopping in the 458 and trying to beat the time i just got with the scuderia… too bad you cant race against your own ghosts like in gt6, but that’s why we have to race against each other rivals times.
You can race your own ghost. Go to rivals, scroll to either “near me” or “friends” and pick yourself as your rival.
Hi, OP,
Yeah, I also love running stock cars. Just to compare their times on say, laguna seca. I really hope we get a All Stock D, C, B, A, S, R, P, X on multiplayer. That would be awesome!
Hi Eduaro, I can’t seem to find the near me or friends option in rivals?
I do, I’m trying to set up a league or challenge type thing for this. Http://chappellr1.wix.com/bargainracer
All of my classic cars are stock except for “Street Suspension”
When you are in the leaderboards, press the “X” (Sort) button to cycle through the different leaderboards available
Hey dude, over at our racing leagues we run stock races 2-3 times a week, head on over for a look, we welcome racers of all levels and abilities, and vote for which stock cars get used for the following season, check out the link at bottom of my post, cheers.
Hi lads
If you call over to www.forzaracing.org.uk we have a league with stock cars. Everyone races the same to make it even. Class B and A

website’s down man
After a recent research, I think that all of the cars in Forza that are stock with no upgrades are very close to their real life factory counterparts.
Take the 2013 Viper Gts for example; Forza and in real life, their default is 640hp, and almost around the same curb weight 3,297 lbs.
It should be good to go, I’ve tested it and it has been fine for me.
Hi all - I don’t mean to butt in but I’m glad I found this topic as I was starting to think I was on my own with this view point. I tend to avoid ramping a car up for all the same reasons mentioned. In fact I just took my La Ferrari out for the fist time, career race on Prague, slammed it into the wall at bend 1, accidentally t-boned a konnisegg near the end of lap 1 but then went on to win…so much more FUN especially as it’s quite low down on the comparative PI scale. The only car I’ve upgraded was an S2000 and that was by accident due to the auto-upgrade function then when I tried to put it back to C class I had to pay 3400 credits for the privilege so the in game upgrade function now charges for garage time
im surprised that’s so many people love racing unmodded cars… I just started playing assetto corsa, and ive been playing gt6 as well, and it’s amazing how close the times are for each car and track despite them being 3 completely different games.
I got some times for ppl to see if they can do better, these are all leaderboard times with bone stock cars n all assists off.
Indy GP: SRT Viper 1:33.457,
Spa C6 ZR1 2:42.212,
Laguna Seca, ZR1 1:39.505, (Motor Trend did it in 1:38.7 in 2009, hoping someone can beat that time soon),
Road Atlanta Club SRT Viper 1:04.645,
Indy Oval Aventador 54.772,
Bathurst Ferrari F12 2:35.574
Gots plenty more too!! Lets start a stock car shootout!!
