Oulton Park, Donington and Knockhill would be good in this game. Red Bull ring is kinda meh though.
They should also try their hand at older tracks that may not be around now. No need to be too wedded to the need to scan these. Certainly I’d be kind about a courageous attempt to recreate Brooklands or the old Spa.
But anyway, I’m dreaming. This title is about delivering middlingly rendered tracks so slowly that people lose interest and they are no doubt completely locked into that stupid model.

would be really cool but would require way to much effort for turn10 to even attempt. they wouldnt even add fantasy tracks that are already made into this game.
It is pretty astonishing. I agree with you entirely about the tracks. I haven’t done a count but presumably, even now, we are a long way short of the FM7 count?
The single player “career” is another area when it’s just incredible how little there is included. When it first landed, I assumed that their intention must be to release permanent tours every few weeks, as an easy way to add more content and keep interest high. Instead, we have just had one featured temporary tour a month and recycled “open” tours, with zero permanent additional content.
Other things that they could easily do to expand the game would be specific online championships and a proper ranked mode.
All we’ve really had so far are fixes to problems created by T10 in the first place and/or tracks that were no doubt held back. It’s just not good enough.

Personally, I love “Scenario”-style events. EA WRC has a mode where you can pick from various scenarios where it’s something like “you’re leading the rally with one stage to go but are nursing engine damage…finish on the podium!”, and you’re awarded gold, silver, or bronze medals depending on how well you do. The list of events is updated with a new scenario added daily.
And - get this - after the events are introduced, they stay as part of the game… PERMANENTLY! (What a concept!) In all seriousness, I’d love to see a scenarios mode like this added to FM. It could all be done with existing cars and tracks, and wouldn’t require any additional licensing (if, for example, you wanted to reference past real-world race scenarios, you could do so generically, without using actual driver or race series names).
Something like that would give players something to do that’s a change of pace from the lather/rinse/repeat of career mode, or while waiting around for their desired Featured MP race to start.
Not all new content requires NEW CONTENT. Just give us more to do with what we’ve already got.

That is exactly what I would like to see. Situations like this in the career. Something like nursing an almost empty fuel tank for 2 laps, while holding the lead. Or helping a team mate finish first in order for them to secure the series championship (following team orders)…
A whole lot can be done with this!

Theres many things that could have been done, but weren’t. They wanted to reboot the franchise, so what about this game is rebooted. The cars, tuning, upgrades, painting and tracks are all the same. If youre going to have all reused assets then new ways to use them should have been a priority but it wasnt.
Every month they release patch notes with this longggg list of things they added for people to do. Swapping some multiplayer races here, a couple of useless rivals events there and a couple of fomo cars. Its lazy and uninspired content.

Maybe they just wanted to “reboot” everyone’s expectations back to zero.

I think that is what they did. I think theyve chosen the word reboot to separate this game from past games in their own mind but in reality its using to much from past games to be an actual reboot. Its apparent most people dont see it the way they do.
Some of the cars were surprising (Modern T/A cars, some older T/A stuff), but with them not being in their own division, it’s kind of pointless. The divisions are all mashed together, which is confusing…
I like that there are a few brand new pre 1980 race cars (waiting on that Matra-Simca), but some are just so random, I don’t understand why they were included.
I understand bringing in the '77 Renault F1 car due to it’s significance (first turbo car in F1), but that car won zero races and was considered a failure. The RS10 from '79 would have been a better choice, but we don’t have many competitors from that era to begin with.

I think I’m going to refer it as the game pass subscription drip from now on.

modern Gaming isn’t fun we can’t have nice things anymore well made games they are very few and far between & game pass isn’t going to boost numbers all that much because well the game speaks for itself

What’s the point of some duplicate models in the game
Two Rimacs that are almost identical
McLaren 720S and 720S Spider, why?
The 2020 BMW M2 is essentially the 2016 M2 we’ve had in the series
The 2020 TT RS is almost the same as the 2018
How is the 2019 Toyota 86 TRD any different from the 2013 one already in the series, it really feels like a big rip off for people who paid for car pass
A 2022 and 2021 VW Golf
Why these duplicate/rebranded models when we’re missing a lot more current cars or a variety of cars to be brought back from older games.
I’m really curious as to some of the car list decisions and again feel scammed with the car pass with the weak copy pastes of the M2, TT RS, and toyota 86
