Where did tesla go??

Tesla was the fastest launching car in FH3, so what ever happened the magnificent electric beast?
I was hoping to see a 1,000hp 2,000 torque tesla in FM7 and I was saddened by in not being in the buy car section.
Did turn 10 have a licensing issue with tesla as well??
Please let me know if so!

Also curious as to what happened to Tesla. Would be awesome to have electric vehicles be in the competition. May be it is because Porsche is making a full electric vehicle and so in order for Forza to continue to use Porsche vehicles, they had to remove Tesla, due to Porsche generally being more popular and having greater car selection.

Maybe T10 is making a prediction by not including Tesla. Considering the company is losing $13,000 for every car it makes.

One of 2 things:

  • No licensing agreement was made for this game.
  • One or more Tesla cars are being held back for future #Forzathon rewards and may be added in a future update.

Quite a few cars are missing to be honest, I understand licencing and all, but a lot of the new cars and ones that they made a fuss about in Horizon 3 are no where to be seen. With the Tesla we’ve had it updated in each game, P85+ in FH2, P85D in FM6 and the P90D in FH3. It could be that Tesla wanted the facelift in and T10 didn’t have time to remodel it and that’s way its not here, who knows really.

A car has to be licensed for each individual game. The fact that they appeared in other/earlier games counts for little. There was also something I read in which a member of T10 mentioned that the budget for licensing fees isn’t open ended and they have to decide what does and doesn’t make the cut.

There’s going to be Teslas in the game. When you buy a car from every manufacturer you will unlock their badges. And there is one badge between Subaru and Toyota that stays locked. We may get an electrifying car pack.

Tesla may come, but the current badges are all for cars that are in the game at the moment - the locked badge space between Subaru and Toyota is for Tamo.
