Toeing the company line.
It’s so obvious yet Christopher thinks otherwise…
guess that’s why he hasn’t bothered to actually do his job
Sell it up before launch and completely disappear after… the only people in this world that do that are either con artists or…
Esaki and Greenawalt are ashamed of their flop of FM 2023 for sure and that’s why they are hiding. Their strategy seems to be: “better no communication and hide”.
So they stopped Forza Monthly for surely because the full price live service game sucks and if they got to save money now it’ill be cheaper to just throw out monthly videos rather than produce a moderated monthly show.
I continue to appreciate the hard work T10 is putting into improving the game.
Sacking FOMO left me overjoyed and I can finally explore career at my own pace and win the previous reward cars.
However, no QoL improvements as such in this version. No car audio improvements in the release notes, no new track.
Was this update mostly just a career focused one? We have consistently had car audio updates every month e.g. and track updates every other month.
Or do you folks feel they just need more time to iron things out and add stuff?
Let’s keep the discussion positive, this is not a dig at T10 - just a positive and fruitful discussion to see what kind of roadmap they might have, as they haven’t shared one with us as yet.
Yes, just like half of the updates/patches that have been released.
You can’t blame the Devs, it’s management that’s pulling the strings here.
There are a number of issues that I have listed over and over.
But I will list them again:
-
Server Stability
This one affects everyone regardless of whether playing online or single player/career, due to the saves being online and the servers for online games. -
Crashing
This appears not to affect everyone on Xbox, which I find strange, while it also affects PC I can understand that due to the different hardware, software, and drivers. -
Performance
This appears not to affect everyone on Xbox, which I find strange, while it also affects PC I can understand that due to the different hardware, software, and drivers.
All this has been posted in the forum.
To be honest I was surprised to see an update at all this month as Update 20 was supposed to be a 2 months update or something like that. Update 20 was substantial and update 21 addressed 2 of the most requested things in the game (FOMO and career) so it was also important.
But yes, lack of QoL fixes/features is always a disappointment. I hope going forward they will be addressed more effectively.
To me, “updates” like this feel like they’re mostly just putting back what was taken away.
Nothing new or game-changing, just returning some things that we already had before.
It’s nice to have these things back.
It’s not nice that these things were removed.
It’s not nice that we’ve waited so long to get these things back.
It’s not nice that we’re still waiting for so many other things.
I like having more single player events to choose from, but like always I wanted a track, ANY TRACK. There are already loads of cars and unless the cars added are a completely new class of cars I would prefer they do QOL fixes and add tracks over anything else. Once they stop with the regular updates we are stuck with the tracklist they leave us with since they are so rigid on modding. The interns are already overworked and some modders out there have more skill anyways. I really wish they would change their stance on modding, at least open it up to car/track mods if nothing else to prevent modded OP cars etc…
It feels like this is Forza Motorsport 8 ver .06. Still another year or so before we hit 1.0 which is sad for a game that’s been out for almost 2 years.
