When does Forzathon cars Buyout price increase? This is a different post from others.

Read Carefully
For example when the #17 Xbox Racing Ford Falcon first got released. People that weren’t a legend painter or tuner were only able to sell them around 800k max buyout. Fast forward some time they were suddenly able to have a increased max buyout of 2.2mill. What gives? Since this time it had nothing to do with Tuner or painter status.

It depends on your painter/tuner status.

Did you even read what I said in my post? I’m saying that with the #17 car the buyout was adjusted. It has nothing to do with tuners to painter status. Yes Legend painter and tuner status can have a lot higher buyout then non legend players. However in this scenario the base buyouts of these #17 vehicles were raised a good something mill out of no where. I’m just wondering if this change will occur again with the new cars or with the #17 it was a one time deal.

And did you even read. The buyouts weren’t adjusted.

Higher your painter status, or your tuner status, the higher you can set buyouts.

Yeah I’m not going to get help here it seems. Want to know how I know this? I bought a lot of #17s for max buy out price. Which at the time was a little over the vehicles value 650k+ 100k give or take. I was very pleased when the next morning the buyout got increased to 2.2mill so I made a huge profit at the AH from this whole strange buyout adjustment that happened. I have no tuner or painter status. So explain to me how I was able to sell these vehicles for nearly triple the maximum buyout after some time has passed? The buyout was literally raised. But whatever. Apparently I experienced something different and new.

For clarification.

You bought the cars for “100-650k” buyout, and sold them for 2.2m. Is that what you’re saying?

Or, when you put them for sale, the max buyout you could set was 650k, and that somehow changed to 2.2m?

I worded that poorly. I’m saying the value of the car if you’re looking at it is 650k and the max buyout was about 100k ish more than the cars value. So people were listing there vehicles at around 750k. However the next day the value of the buyout got bumped to a maximum of 2.2mill.

So yes I was all of a sudden able to sell these vehicles for three times the price.

Dont know why people would be crazy enough to waste that much on them to begin with
Struggled to sell mine for the starting price

I’m not sure car buyouts have changed since launch (not really into playing the AH) but I do know that if there is some kind of ‘schedule’ it would not be shared with the community for very obvious reasons, i.e. what you want that information for.

So, what you’re saying is I can’t sell cars at market value simply because I don’t share my tunes or paint jobs?

No what they are saying is you can sell at market values and others can attempt to sell at higher rates.

OMG how many threads on this
T10. Can you please address some of these joker “legendary” tuners and “painters” please! A lot of us know why you did it. But gamers are exploiting it terribly.

If Stuzib, Wildcat, Fox, initial b, based, and others put real paints and high prices everyone would know why they could charge higher rates. (Examples of real legendary painters)

My opinion NIX the tuner status AH rates completely. They should be normal and anyone that puts a black car with pink wheels and uses legendary status should get it taken away too.

No… you can sell for market value…

The other values are over inflated rip off greedy values set by greedy selfish people who don’t even bother putting a half decent paint job on them and leave them stock because stupid people will still pay for them
And abuse their status as so-called legendary painters

Or you could do what I do while in th AH if you see a paint job on an over price car or tune sellect the details got to ther store and just download the paint or tune for free then buy the cheapest car for that paint or tune you can then go to your saved tunes or paints and apply legendary paint and tune for rock bottom prices and since the tuner or designer gets payed by game for all downloads we all win except thoes who abuse the system with super high mark up a 20% mark up would be more than fair for 5 star tuners and painters. If on the other hand it was a one off paint job or tune that only a single player could own then an increase in price would be acceptable.
