been a little while since I’ve played, bought a ferrari 312 T2 and took it for a test run around catalunya before I started tuning it, Iwent off track at one point and expected to be slowed down to a crawl like usual… but, to my surprise, I slid straight into the wall without slowing down… tried out various other off course areas and I didn’t get that sticky effect at all, anywhere…
is it really gone?.. or I am I just losing it?
and if it is, how long has it been gone for?
Sticky grass is still there everywhere it was before for me
It’s still there.
They’ve removed it from the tarmac sections around turns, but as far as sand is concerned, i.e. the Lemans chicanes… you’re going to get glued.
Not an issue at all. Just practice good race craft.
The sticky surfaces are usually only placed where there is an opportunity for gamers to cheat; albeit, some sections have been overlooked.
I wouldn’t say so, Yas Marina is a good example of a track where Turn10 messed that up. Pure cheating track and it’s the only way to get a top time.
So you skipped the very part where I wrote (and you quoted) “albeit, some sections have been overlooked”?

No sticky grass. Oh I totally need your copy of the game
Well, may i got you wrong with “some sections have been overlooked”, but in my opinion it’s a bit more than just overlooked on that track.
