Was wondering how everyone is tuning there cars to be able to do wheelies. I haven’t been able to on any of my cars
not all cars can do wheelies at the drag strip . but you can get most cars to bounce wheelie
For wheelie off the line tuning your going to want race springs ride height adjusted all the way up, front springs soft rear stiff and the same in the dampening/rebound… front soft rear stiff for both. dodge coronet amc rebel and a few other of the old muscle cars will do them easy =)
Bounce wheelie is rather similar,
Jack the car up, The rear spring and damping almost as stiff as they go, Front springs rather soft, and Rebound as low as it goes, and bump somewhere around 30-45% (Depends on weight distribution, rideheight etc…)
Get on long straight, and start driving around 40-50mph, Full throttle, and tap the brakes when the front is around as high as it goes with that particular bounce, When you learn how to do it it takes usually 3-5 bounces to get the rear bumper scraping the ground.
