I have a ferrari 458 italia wheel i’ve had for a long time. It still works fine, everything’s goochy, but it will not work on Forza 7. I have the game for PC and it just won’t work, I’ve set the input to this exact wheel 100 times and it doesn’t work. Whenever I put the input to this wheel, I click save and then go back to the race, to which it doesn’t work, then I go back into the input menu and it’s blank. Please help.
Little update, now it’s sensing the wheel is there as when I’m in a race, if I move the wheel either direction it just turns the car hard left until I use WASD or arrow keys to steer
If you continue to have issues, and the wheel works fine otherwise on PC. I suggest you give this a try, the different FFB feel is nice too.
Have you tried doing a custom mapping, manually setting the axis and buttons?
Yes I have, it doesn’t respond to me pushing or turning things when I try to custom map.
Any other suggestions?
Are you using the Thrustmaster Control Panel to update your wheel’s firmware and changing the forces there? The correct firmware is now version 53.0. That software will take precedence over in-game settings in some instances.
There are also a lot of wheel settings discussions in the Hardware & Peripherals
forum here, too.
just checking to make sure you changed the mode on the wheel to PC from console. I’ve forgot to do that before. God luck.
