Hi everyone,
I just finished downloading FM7, plugged the wheel in via USB and started the game. In the main menu, the wheel is clearly recognised by the game, the mouse dissapears when i perform any type of input on the wheel or pedals. The buttons don’t work though. Neither in the main menu nor the steering or pedals in game. In the options the wheel doesn’t show up, there are only the 3 Fanatec Pre-Sets apart from the keyboard and controller settings. Went to see if the PC detects the wheel, and everything is fine, in the Game-Pad options all the inputs are correctly recgonised. Also, i can play FH3 with this wheel, which was immediatly recognised as i plugged it in for the first time. Now, the italia is not on the list of supported wheels, but it’s the PC-Version of the Thrustmaster 458 Spider and it’s not an unpopular wheel, so i assumed it’s supported.
Any ideas on how to fix this, or is the wheel straight up not supported? If so, is there a work-around? I basically bought this wheel for the game, would be a shame if such a big title doesn’t support this wheel

I have that wheel also and used it on the XB1 to play Forza 6
Have not tried it on the PC as I have a much better wheel to use with the PC
There should be more than just 3 presets in the game for a wheel though.
When I look at the list in my game I seem at number 18 in the list
Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider
Is it possible that you just have not scrolled down the list?
There should be about 40 entries there but if you do not scroll you will see just the first 3 fanatec entries
I have the same wheel and it works. Only issue I’m having is its pressing random buttons in the middle of races.
Did you just plug and play tom? I found it now in the options list, but the issue still persists. The game notices when i give an input, but nothing works. Keyboard and xbox-controller both work btw. Is there somewhere to manually select the input-device? Maybe the game recognises the wheel falsy as a controller or smth.
Ok, nvm i found a fix. When making a new setting for a custom controller, he detects the inputs correctly, so i just went through all the inputs. Now i have to use the keyboard in the main menu, but the car-stuff works ingame!
