WHEEL IS SLOWER THAN CONTROLLER? - anyone else get this?

I’ve known for some time that using my CSR Fanatec Wheel seemed just very slightly slower than using my xBox controller - but it appears with FH2 that difference is quite huge.

For instance - I could not get the MINI COOPER up to 100mph using the wheel in that stunt and the Vauxhall would not reach 113mph or the Pagani reach the 140mph mark
The Mini would only get to 97 or 98 the Vauxhall to 110 and the Pagani to 133mph. Despite being much more in control and accurate with the wheel the controller made those stunts possible for me.

Has anyone else using a wheel noticed a difference in speed?

A major reason I have not bought the XBOX ONE is the lack of support for my Fanatec CSR - so I’wonder if this problem is due to the 360 version or some flaw in the wheel.

I’m on XB1 and use the TX wheel and haven’t noticed any difference in the speed. Just a little harder to control offroad than using a controller.

Very true, I love using the wheel for the immersion, but the off road tracks (especially in a sports car, and not an SUV or something) are nearly unbearable. I wish the game stuck to roads when we weren’t in an off-road vehicle.

Not sure about individual stunts but I find it hardest to use the wheel when a lot of huge swings back and forth are needed. Forza isn’t bad but Dirt is pretty much impossible for me with a wheel.

I loved Dirt 2 and 3 with my Fanatec ! 900 degree steering in that game is too much trouble. For me on all codemasters pc games I use 360 degree for open wheel cars on Grid Autosport, 420 on everything else including dirt 2 and 3. Drift mode on wheel for me is always at least 3 but I have a gt2 which has a heavier rim so that may be a bit much for a CSR or ELite.
