A message to the Devs. I’ve been asking for several years now - and I mean YEARS - through FH3, 4 & 5 to get the LSB / RSB buttons on the wheel to be recognised in the game as they need to be functional for many things but they just don’t even get recognised in mapping the buttons.
At least in The Eliminator when stuck on rocks or whatever it eventually triggers a reset car position but they do nothing when trying to switch Roof to Convertibles or drive from AWD to RWD for the cars that use them or Race to Track setups.
It’s still not functional and never has been whilst other games have no issues with mapping these buttons.
In H & S you don’t even get the car reset option to trigger. Why do I need to switch from wheel to controller just to use them when they’re there on the wheel with no way to use them ? Can you please just fix this.
I’ve asked each of you individually ( T10, PG, MS & Logitech ) to find the problem and sort it but you all just blame each other as each others issue. I’ve also asked that you all get round a table to find the issue and sort it but no joy. PLease just fix this once and for all.
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve been beached on a rock on H&S and other events with no means of escape because you can’t get the simple mapping of LSB / RSB wheel buttons to function as they should. They can’t be mapped at all.
It also affects conversions for cars with hoods, RWD to AWD changes and track to race options on other cars.
Why can’t you get a simple button mapping issue resolved after approacing a decade of asking. Probably longer than that as they don’t work in ANY Forza iteration including the FH originals and FM games.
It beggars believe that a tech company like PG with all the links to MS, Forza, Logitech can’t all get together and figure this out once and for all.
Ridiculous that when you ask one they point the finger at one of the others and so on, and so on.
Just fix it ! It shouldn’t be that hard for yo to work out why this part of your systems are broken especially when they are needed in so many areas of the game(s).
