What's been your fav car so far

I absolutely love the Nissan R390. Its an old favorite from forza 2 and it’s a relatively strong car even today. Unfortunate PI of S800 but whatever.

I’d use the Nissan Skyline R34 for A class as well. Probably my all time favorite next to the R390 is either the Dodge Dart HEMI Super Stock or the '16 Mazda MX-5. Love those things, they’re beasts.

My all-time favorite: NSX, in S class. Light car with great turn-in, braking, acceleration and top speed.

That wasn’t what I was getting at I don’t care what car people drive but I usually use the 73 Trans Am as a benchmark in online lobbies to put my tunes up against. If I can beat a semi skilled driver in the 73 trans am in another muscle car then I know I’m onto something good. I’ve stopped using the 73 TA all together because I have found a few cars that will keep up with it pretty much everywhere. I’m not trying to put anyone down because of their car choice I was just saying that there are lots of other options.

And as far as the 69 Nova is concerned I hardly ever see anyone use them, even in this weeks muscle car league so well known may be a stretch. But it is on the top of the leaderboards in a few places. My tunes are about three seconds off the #1 time on the Daytona layout with the chicane so they’re not the best version but I still hold a low 2.06 to a high 2.05 on that layout with both of them. Can’t seem to get much more out of them.

If I had to guess, it’s the build as to why it’s not used often. Not a lot of people can control it. Doesn’t help either that there probably isn’t any notable shared tunes for a grip based version. It’s well known among those who are quick and frequent D class. That’s why AKRA1X called you out.

My Capri runs mid 2:05s at Daytona in lobby pretty easily. No clue how fast in hotlap. Some of my friends caught word and all 4 of us ran top 40s in lobby yesterday on the other layout. Even set a #1 and friend #2 in divsion in lobby a few days ago. If I had to guess the Capri is one of the best cars for the track. No chance against a Nova (as far as I can tell), but still really good. I’m going to abuse it since I was (I think) the first to figure it out.

Personally I think use what ever car you like ! Regardless of leaderboard car ! Or not , it’s just a game and there is nothing sweeter than either beating a quick guy or a quick car

I was surprised that I found two odd-balls so endearing: the Alfa Romeo SZ and the Renault Alpine A110. They’re great fun right out of the box and respond well to different methods of tuning. Two fun cars.
