What's been your fav car so far

Don’t know how often any of you do it but for a long time in forza 6 we got tied up in the GT cars and seldom switching to the touring cars for our Friday leagues but most of the time we would be in the GT cars

Recently though we decided to have a bit of fun in C class and b class cars and now we’re even doing the lowest level cars just for the sake of something different

My personal favourite car in forza is a hard one but as I really like a mix of a few

I love the nismo modern GT car , the Mercedes team wix touring car and the Toyota hybrid ts , all race cars but as for good close fun I love using the Ferrari 360 cs in a class , a long time ago i watched a video from super GT about it and used it and have always liked using it since

What’s your fav cars in fm6 and why and what is your prefers class of cars

Preferred class: D

Fav cars at the moment:

Ford Capri set up for daytona. It’s a cool looking and fun driving car and it’s fun being able to find an oddball that ran top 20 in a lobby. The best part is the car has been completely overlooked since game launch until now.

Dodge Dart. Low grip high acceleration car the handles pretty decent for what it is. Just a fun virtually raw car in terms of upgrades. Took a year but everyone else finally caught on that it was fast.

90 Camaro. Pretty raw in terms of upgrades and almost no tuning. Even at 3600lbs it outperforms many cars that are 1,000lbs lighter. Idk why it works, but it does and I love the boxy look of it.

79 Camaro. Grip car that’s pretty good everywhere and will run top 100s when hotlapped. My dad owned one when I was younger and I am stoked that it’s not only fast, but doesn’t need a motor swap

VW golf R32 for the Alps. Surprisingly quick and competitive. I like the boxy styling and it’s just fun having this car do something positive for once.

69 Camaro. Dream car. That says it all.

87 trans am. Always live this car as a kid and was happy to find it capable at lime rock of all places. Fun little oddball that is pretty consistent.

Preferred class is R = real racing lol

My favorite car has to be the mighty ultima. I think it’s arguably 1 of the best cars in R class due to the fact it can top page grip and power tracks and it wasn’t built in the 60’s in mclaren back garden.

My favourite car that I run regulay in hoppers is the ferrari 458 S. This eats grip m8b’s and r382’s when driven by the newbs.

You can probably tell but my worst car is a mclaren m8b. Stupid power build killed r class. I mean how on earth cab a car be no1 on a power track and no1 on a grip track at the sane time in the sane tune. Totally op probably the worst op car there is

Most fun to drive and stylish looking car for me:

Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0

Nuff said.

Snap. Run it so much in S class lobbies. It’s not the fastest anywhere but it’s such fun to drive.

I’m with swerve on D class. You have to carefully choose your upgrades for D class, sacrifices have to be made in one area to make gains in another. That can make for very interesting upgrade and build choices.

My favorites are pretty much all the classic muscle cars built to the top of D class. But lately I’ve been using a 70 vette (not really a muscle car but the game classifies it as one) and a swapped 69 Nova. (Hemi on Daytona and Le Mans, 350 on Sebring and Road Anerica) Those two will outrun 99% of the players running the 73 Trans Am which always makes my day.

I have a 70 challenger and 64 impala in reserve when those two get boring and a 70 camaro built for speed and handling (separately) as well.

Those six cars keep me well entertained. There’s nothing like the challenge you get from driving old muscle cars. There is very little margin for error but when you get it right some people send messages asking how you do it.

Is it kinda hypocritical to uses a Nova on Daytona or other speed/power tracks and then blast '73 users. Heck just swapping motors makes any these car competitive with each other.

I never said it wasn’t fast nor did I say not to use the 73 trans am, it’s a great car and it helps amateur racers keep pace in faster lobbies. The point I didn’t make very well was that there are so many great options in D class that don’t get the time of day they deserve. Pretty much any muscle car can be a good lobby car, although they are unforgiving. But what makes D class so special to me is that there are so many options for many different specs. Those novas I mentioned each have handling stats under 4. But yet they work so well if you know when to brake and when to accelerate. The build I use on Le Mans Mulsanne has a 3.2 braking stat it’s like trying to stop a freight train on greasy rails. But it’s so much fun to drive that you forget how terrible it is in corners.

What he was implying is that you were putting down those who use the 73 Trans am because it’s a leaderboard car with an example of the 69 nova which is a well known leaderboard car.

Your picking what up, what putting down.
To be fair I have multiple builds for every car in muscle division. A lot of them are pretty darn closes or faster than '73 when you need more speed. I always love the 73 and was the first car I built in for a 6. But I get blasted any time I uses it, so I stay away from it.

The Indycars. All of them. I like driving the IMSA RX7 and Cougar, the XJR-9, 962 and 787 are all awesome. I enjoy both DP cars. The Ferrari 641 and McLaren MP4/4 are both insane. There’s really no rhyme nor reason behind any of them, they’re all just cars I enjoy driving and racing.

Oh well, I just made a nice list and as usual the site does not post it. I keep forgetting to copy and paste before posting.

I race S class and below and spend the most time in B,C,or D class. Favorite car is 1969 Trans Am with stock motor or motor swap depending on the circuit. I tend to favor the older American muscle cars and I always have stock motor build/tunes as well as motor swap builds/tunes.

I like all of the TransAms, Firebirds and Camaros - kinda surprised at how well the newer models run.

There is part of me that wished Pontiac still existed. A new 2018 TransAm would be awesome!

Closest you’re going to get, unless GM decides to revive the Pontiac brand.

Holy Wow, I have never seen any of these! They look sweet too!

Tough call. Between FM4 and now, I’ve had a great time in B Class AE86s, no aero, full handling upgrades, 5-speed with the rest of the PI built into power without an engine swap. The accel tends to catch some off guard, but lightweight and a good tune on the suspension and diff made for quick handling even without aero. Totally a blast.

As for race cars, I love classic touring and GT machines. So happy to have the M1 Procar and the Group 5 cars now, as well as the older IMSA machines. For more modern ones, I’m FM4 I had the most fun in the xbox liveried 911 Cup car (repainted by myself and possibly on the FM4 tuning garage still somewhere as I think I was still with Auto Art). FM5 had no Porsches but I fell in love with the M3 GT2 car, and I’m still loving it now. Tried some of the Porsche GT cars, but they just don’t have that magic that they used to for me.

-I love the '69 Pontiac GTO in B class, such a great all-arounder.

-Also enjoy the Holden Monaro GTS, have a lot of personal bests with it on accel tracks.

-The '67 Chevelle is another car that I really enjoy driving in B, and nobody seems to drive it

-For my love of Group B, I have to put the Lancia Delta S4 on here. I would put the Quattro but it is such a pooch in B-class I hardly drive it. Wish you could turbo rally it like you can the s4.

Since FM4 I’ve pretty much stuck with a small number of cars although their level of competitiveness has changed as has their optimum class. They’re my favourites only because given the chance I’d love to own them for real.

037 in B and A
F50 in S
RX7 FD in C and B

Nissan Skyline R34 - It can do anything from C - R class. However, it really does not have the handling for R class.
