Though I love the fact that there are many models of fan favorite manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Chevy, etc. I know that licensing is a separate matter. However, if there were no issues, what manufacturer would you like to see more of in the franchise? (Not counting Porsche because that topic has already been debated to death). I personally would like to see Nissan and Mazda.
Iām fairly certain the M14 and M15 never entered official production. They only made the prototypes. And there werenāt many of the M10 or M400 made. Theyāre great cars but theyāre not nearly as widely known as Porsche or Ferrari, despite being competitors. I think one of the reasons the M600 is in Forza is because itās gotten the most press of any Noble cars.
Iād like to see more of Audi. I just like them because theyāre good cruisers and good looking. The last Horizon was lacking in Audiās and it annoyed me that the RS5 wasnāt even included and the wagon just didnāt look as good. I hope all of the Audiās from Horizon 1 and Forza Motorsport 5 return.
Why not some more Mercury, Lincoln, Chrysler, GMC and Buick and Hummer? I mean why canāt we have a newer car in the game? Like the GMC Sierra 2014 or some other truck, because the GMCās are really old in Forza 4 and 5. Also, Forza has not bean consistent in cars, because in Forza 4 it has a 1990 truck and in Horizon an old van. So, what Iām saying is, I think there should be a little more consistency in the games. Take Dodge for instance, in Forza 4 there are like 23+ Dodge cars, but in Forza Horizon there were only 3 cars, Dodge Charger 69ā, SRT Charger 2014, and Dodge Challenger 2012⦠WHAT HAPPENED THERE? I mean not even a DLC Dodge car was in it .In forza 5, there were about the same cars as Forza 4 with DLCās. All I can say is there need to be more than 3 cars with multiple manufacturers in the new Forza Horizon 2 because it just does not make sense when there are so many race cars like the old Dart, Roadrunner and others that are not put into the game. Heck even the Dodge Durango, I mean they want advertising right?
It was a 2012 charger lol, Horizon never had any 2014 cars i believe, only up to 2013 Although i agree with your point about consistency.
OT: Some more noble could have been good, i was surprised the M12 or M15, M400 werent in the game, yet they have cars like Rossion, spada etc. Iād like to see more of Volvo or Vauxhall, Saab
Because the Impala is about as fun to drive as a sack of potatoes and the Ford Fusion Sport is no longer made?
Impala- full size FWD
Fusion- mid size FWD (optional AWD)
Charger- full size RWD
One of these things is sportier than the others.
Iām all in favor of more low-end cars⦠but they need to be worth my real-world money to drive virtually. Itās difficult enough as is for them to put in 25-year-old Japanese hatchbacks because the Modern Derpfare crowd doesnāt buy posters of them.
1, what is wrong with the 2014 fusion just because itās not the sport?
2. didnāt they have the CR-X as a unicorn?
3. then why cant we get any more trucks in forza horizon? they had the Dodge Ram SRT8 viper truck and Ford SVT Raptor and Saleen truck. why not a Chevy silverado Z71 or GMC?
There is nothing inherently wrong with the Fusion, other than the fact that it does not have much performance potential. Donāt get me wrong, Forza has added cars with little sporting ability in the past. But these cars have had other features that make them useful to the community. The Smart in FM4 was not fast, but it had crazy handling and made for fun games of Soccer and C&M. The vans were great for painters because they provided huge canvases to decal up. The Ford F100 in the first Horizon made sense for that gameās setting and could be made into a great rat rod, if so desired. The Fusion doesnāt really offer any of these things. A Euro-spec Ford Mondeo Wagon with diesel power would make more sense for the setting, too.
Yes, the CR-X was available as a unicorn in the first Horizon. It was also available normally in Forzas 2-4 (Havenāt played 1). It didnāt take them much effort to add that, and anyone that tells you otherwise probably has some sort of agenda. The fact of the matter is that the unicorn selection for the first Horizon was just meant to be eclectic, and any other car could have been picked over the CR-X anyway. But all of that misses my original point, which was that the majority of new cars added to these games tend to be brand-new Audis and BMWs, and the occasional supercar, because thatās what kids will want to spend money on, not funky older stuff, regardless of body style/ country of origin. And thatās a shame. To conclude that point, why should we put effort into putting bland American family sedans with little to no driving dynamics in when that priority could be given to classics of all colors?
Thatās ultimately up to the developers. I would be fine with seeing more sport trucks, as they definitely have their place in Forza. Fulton claims that many of the new cars for FH2 will be ācrazy off-roadersā so thereās a chance weāll be seeing more vehicles with truck-like tendencies.
I agree with DROPTOP PMPN, I know someone with a pair of Chevy C10s, a 1970 and a 1972. It would be nice to be able to modify some more common cars rather than just high end and well know cars. It is fine modifying a Ferrari or a Dodge Charger, but I would like to see more than one car from manufacturers. An example would be the Plymouth Cuda in FH1, it was great but was alone and seemed lacking especially without engine swaps. Seeing a Superbird would be nice, or a few more concepts and prototypes from companies.
