What is the reason behind removing P, R and C class hoppers?

Hello peoples ,

today I tried to play in multiplayer class C, but this is not offered to me in the multiplayer menu ,

what is this ?

Nop , i dont have C Class Offered , even at the Right lol .

ah now it updated. Was there just 5 min ago anyway Breakout X and Breakout E replaced them. Ghost open wheel legends replaced Ghost Track Toys which was dying out anyway.

No c class racing means no play. Looks like forza is off my games to play list for now. Only played because of how good c class was compared to the other classes as you’d see everything from limousines doing NASCAR to minis racing around the alps. Well feel free to message me when it returns as I’m certainly not playing at the moment and my forza rewards can sit for all I care as I ain’t got time for forza now.

Versatility is a good thing to have. Sticking to one class only is not for me. I like variety. You are just limiting yourself.

Yes it is, even better when choice is free and not forced. Give us all classes and stop removing existing ones!

What has happened to the P Class Hopper? It’s gone. Are we ever going to get it back or is it gone for good? It was starting to feel like Forza 4 all over again then they took the lobby away :(. Forza please give us back the P Class lobby. And how about some real Leaderboards with ghosts.

You can literally run the same cars in E.

I even managed a podium in an Artic Truck land cruiser

Me and I’m sure many others have noticed that the P, R and C class Breakout hoppers are gone. The Unlimited Drift hopper for those who want to use AWD cars, is gone as well; it’s not a hopper I personally enjoyed, but it sure was requested a lot. Was there an announcement that I missed, concerning the removal of these hoppers? And why have they been replaced by Ghost Open-Wheel Legends, Rebirth of Muscle, X class Breakout and E class Breakout hoppers, when NONE of those were requested in the wishlist (with the exception of X class being requested three times by the same guy without any support from others)?

I remember back in November that the only Breakout hopper we had, was A class. After a few weeks, it was removed from the game and replaced by S class. We all hated that we had spent hours tuning and painting our A class cars and that they then sit in our “garage” for nothing. The same thing has happened again; I’ve spent hours tuning and painting R and C class cars (P class was not a hopper I really liked), but now those cars are useless.

So, what is the reason behind this obviously terrible move? Why replace popular hoppers with ones that weren’t frequently requested or not requested at all? Why replace them in the first place, why weren’t the new hoppers simply added? It’s just a poor move. Turn 10 is showing once again that they have no clue how their customers feel about their game.

But I prefer driving at 130mph on nice tracks than driving basically what could be described as 90% stock cars and driving old boats and races taking 3-4 times longer.

I’m a D class guy minimum so I totally get ya. That extra power helps. Lol. You can fit tunable stuff in E but the car may be super heavy or have little power. It doesn’t take that much longer to finish races. Maybe a minute longer. It just feels longer because of the lack of power.

Best thing for Turn 10 to do is have X-E Breakouts and rotate the other stuff. I think most people would be happy with that. Also making an announcement would be nice when they change.

An announcement would have been nice indeed or any communication for that matter. I really want to know why Turn 10 made these decisions.

I would like to see more homologated hoppers division options, for all the breakouts I still own Fm6…

Not sure why we can’t have it all. I would really like to see more than 1 ghost lobby personally. I hate the wreckfest of breakout hoppers. I’m fine with more homologated too. I don’t have a problem with it. More everything is good.

Because there arent nearly enough people playing online to populate that many hoppers.

FM3 rarely had more than 5000 players ( the only game where you could see the numbers ) on at the same time and Forza had more hoppers than CoD or Halo did.

This is the most plausible answer in the thread.

Turn 10 likely can’t have too many Hoppers active as they don’t have enough concurrent users to sustain them all.

By keeping the Hopper count low there’s a greater chance of finding a Lobby with a decent number of players in it, and in order to add new Hoppers some need to be cut. They’ve likely cut the ones mentioned due to low player count or because they’re too similar to what they’ve added and they’d prefer to keep things diverse.

Bolding section. If they cut due to low player count then they need to reassess why they have low player count. I know the current visual and lobby bugs I encounter whenever I play are reasons why I spend less time in FM7 these days.

Id love to see a hopper that is Random ghost lobby.
