Might just be me but isn’t the old design of driving to events from the previous games what Horizon should be about? Open World etc…
Driving to each event allowed players to either get a feel for the car they’ve selected before the race start. invite a friend to the lobby whilst knowing “on screen” how many people are present in the lobby, get a more solid understanding of the map, or simply to just take a rest for 1-2mins. This whole loading screen business isn’t keeping players glued to your game Playground.
Wasnt it called free roam rush and they made it one of the 5 events and people jumped up and down and complained about it so they removed it from most adventures
There’s so much I miss about H3, so much that I appreciate NOW that I never once paid any attention to until this hot mess of a game. Nobody asked Playground to re-invent the wheel, but someone there decided to and thinks square is the way to go, it seems…
the issues was that they make it count as a race … so u was suppose to race it not cruse around like in fh3 … and off roading in road racing is awful
plus if u want to cruse go in solo … race chanpionship is not made for this … its just lose time for the actual point … racing … i would prefer old FH1 style lobby
Horizon 2 style road trips wouldn’t be so bad every once in a while. Just get from point A to point B within the time limit, get XP along the way, and you don’t have to worry about getting there first, or navigating through the woods if you really don’t want to. Also, there’s only 1 every 3 or 4 races, and not every other event.
