I think they should allow quick travel instead of either having to drive to the destination or waiting until the timer counts down in Tour racing, either that or do like what happens in the trial you are instantly transported to the next race, I honestly don see the point of having to drive there you get nothing for it, it wouldn’t be so bad if it meant you start at the front for getting there first.

C’mon, they are offering us free driving practice so we are sharp as possible for the next race, driving across the map helps achieve this…

From what I have seen of other peoples driving it obviously doesn’t work, I don’t think there enough years in their lives to help them improve, they are way beyond help maybe they should consider playing hidden object games where they might have more success. lol

I really don’t get some of you. The tour is the only mode that offer freeroam rush. You even don’t need to take part in it. Yet here we have the same old people who just live trying to ruin the fun for others.
Go and play outside with other kids. Try to do something positive in your life for once.

I like driving to the next event. It can either be a casual cruise or a mini Eliminator style race if you want it to be.
I really enjoyed doing 10 drift arcades with no fast travel in a row too in my AE86. I like the touring aspect to these modes where you don’t have to be your sharpest and can just drive and enjoy random cars and chill.

Yup another pointless dumb gameplay mechanic. But at this point, who cares anymore lol. If i want to free roam, i just do it, i dont need an open horizon tour to do it.
Most people dont realize that this design has nothing to do with fun, its done this way to force players to waste more time in-game, and to use it as another way to add daily events related to free roam on horizon tour. Completely stupid, as everything in this game.

I think driving from race to race would be more fun if:
- everyone was forced to take roads instead of everyone driving a straight line across the countryside
and - there were rewards for getting to the next race the fastest

Driving to the next destination should decide the starting position for the next race (i.e. first one there starts in the #7 slot and the last gets #12).

I really like it, it reminds me of Freeroam Rush and the older Online Adventure style of racing.
Well, so you know you are completely wrong. I dont play the trial ever precisely because i hate rammers and i never do it myself. Maybe because fanboys like you videogames will never improve. It doesnt matter how much you like to free roam to your next destination on horizon tour, its a dumb mechanic. Period. Specially because it has NO purpose AT ALL.

It seems like every thread certain people get in becomes an excuse to say that FH5 is a horrible game. It gets tiresome.
I personally treat the drive to the next race as a way to engage in an unofficial head-to-head race. How many other players, if any, will beat me to the destination.

You may not have noticed that the new forum shows who a post is replying to in the upper right of the post. In this case, dave was replying to STR3LA even though his post directly followed yours.
Meh. Lots of the people who complain about get rammed all the time usually just aren’t fast enough to get away. 
Those that ram aren’t fast enough to keep up and usually rely on wall riding which they can only do in races that benefit you. It is staring to tire me that all people seem to wanna do here is be miserable and call it such a bad game.
I wasn’t saying it was a bad game was just saying I would prefer not to waste time driving to the next race or sit waiting for others to do so.
In fact I enjoy the game immensely and quite like doing the tour and working as a team and like I said if we got rewarded with something for driving to the next race then I would be more interested in doing so.

What I find redundant, is the whole five minute delay for “Fast traveling to destination” – and then you all drive to your destination 75 miles away, and you have exactly the amount of time to get there as the amount of time it took the first driver to arrive — and THEN, spend another 5 minutes to “Fast travel to destination”
I like the idea of starting positions being based on arrival times, although I doubt they’d ever bother trying to implement that…
