So I made a couple of different car to run in C class lobbys. Mostly without the 1.6 or 5.7 engine. Non of these car dominant the leaderboards. I gotten more hate mail, harassment, trolling from using these cars.
It seams like any car that can a top 200 time is considered a LB car. Which mean half the cars in Cclass.
dont worry about it. use what ever car you want. they have the option to use the same car if they choose. racing is not a game of who can go the slowest. i used what ever car i wanted until i had 25 affinity then i would move to a different manufacturer. even that dlc only mazda that dominates doesn’t bother me. there are other classes to choose from if i dont want to try to beat the mazda. the reason they are leader board cars is they are one of the wisest choices, best preformers. why are you getting greif? because they wanted to win, well so do you.
the only time a greifed anyone was long ago and it was wall riders. yes i could choose to tune for the wall too, but i would rather not. to me thats cheating. it shouldn’t be in the game. maybe mazda should be in a different class. those go carts should not have been put on the track with normal sized cars because they can sneek into a blind spot before you see them and its not really greifing them since you didn’t know they were there but you still punt them into next week. some mistakes were made in fm5. but other than corner cutting, wrecking and wall riding its fair game.
they are not leaderboard cars so don’t worry , they just angry that you beat them.
Also I can give you a list of below average c and d class cars stock.
I believe a LB car is looking at the LB or top tunes with a LB time or position and using it because its fast and making a car in that class and not doing your own thing.
I chose not to run leaderboard cars at all because of that reason. Seems like even of u put in the wrong motor on purpose people still consider it a leaderboard car. When I get accused of it I just tell them thanks for the compliment.
That’s dumb. C class is pretty wide open. There are a bunch of cars that don’t even appear good on the lb but actually are with some effort. Then, there’s also some cars that are lb worthy in a few tracks and just decent everywhere else.
What’s dumb is someone criticizing someone for picking a car more apt to win something called a “race”.
Unless it’s a spec race, get over it.
While I do understand the mindset of trying to get something unconventional as high up the boards as possible, in a lobby you’re there to win. Anyone that “poses” as says otherwise is hypocritcally challenged.
As was said earlier, anyone can pick the same car, and if they know it’s LB car, I’d question their intellect, definately their choices. the only exceptions, as I said are spec races OR a lobby where everyone is deliberately avoiding LB cars, and we do that occasionally, but it’s not in a public hopper.
LB cars have always gathered hate in Forza, don’t worry about using them. Personally I don’t run them, I find it quite fun to try and compete with the LB in lesser cars myself but there’s no reason anybody should complain at you for running them.
That kinda of the point of the thread. I build these car to run well in lobbys, but be diffrent. This car poped up on a couple track in top 50. So where is the line drawed between Lb car and a lobby.
Khronik and frf Hard are running top 10 times with a alfa gtv-6 on road atlanta.
Is this now a LB car?
In my opinion, there are no “leaderboard cars.” There are just leaderboard drivers. Those faster than thou.

I’m sure I’ve seen you online AKRA1X. The hate mail probably has naff all to do with your car choice. It’s the fact your showing the whole lobby a clean pair of heals each race (if your the one I’m thinking)
Personally, I’m not bothered wether I run LB cars or not. But once the hate mail starts, I always pull out the LB cars, and enjoy turning the screw. If people are going to get so angry over a bunch of pixels on a screen, I’m more than happy to laugh.
I like to drive all different kinds of cars, I don’t care if they’re “leaderboard cars” or not. Some cars are naturally just better than others but I don’t worry about that as I find it fun to just drive what I like. You’d be surprised how good some cars are that are generally ignored by the masses and for me that makes them more fun to drive.
In addition to my earlier comment, if you are receiving harassing messages through Xbox Live, report the senders to stick it to them doubly. Anyone stupid enough to send hate mail through a moderated system deserves what’s coming to them. Maybe a vacation will have them thinking twice before revving up about someone’s choice of virtual vehicle.
As far harassment goes, a couple weeks was the worst. I had 3 drivers crash me out of every race for the whole weekend. I was forced to race non-collision. Blocking people for some reason does not work.
Lately its just people calling me out or a massage.
Yeah. Just tag 'em with a report … it’s really the most meaningful thing you can do (along with blocking). Also, you can try your luck at recording the incident with the Xbox One DVR and sending a copy to forzafb@microsoft.com so they can adjudicate. Otherwise, you’ll just have to navigate around the imbeciles.
Save the replay after the race and then send a message to Snowowl after u have shared it to forza tv
I might be wrong, but I don’t think Snowowl has punishment authority via the Forza servers, much less Xbox Live services. It’s not a jab … just trying to ensure member’s reports are seen by the appropriate personnel. I still recommend going with the built-in Xbox report/block feature for harassing messages and unsporting; then direct with Turn 10 for issues related to intentional crashers.
Having direct authority or indirect has the same affect. I’m not sure who he talks to or how he handles it but he has helped myself and thousands of other racers out there with wreckers (not xbl I’ve messages).
I had a guy two days ago tell me to stop driving the fastest cars that I have. I used a supra, zagato, and a cougar in A class. My nest three races I used a Bently, r35, and the 300 srt 8. Same result but i think he got even more mad that he lost to those 3 cars lol. Mission accomplished
AK, anything YOU drive IS a leaderboard car.
Some people are more leaderboard material than others, so when you are good you are good, and YOU ARE GOOD!
