How will the AI drive it, because that’s what calculates PI.
What is its top speed, how does the game simulate the downforce generation etc.
I have a feeling Turn 10 won’t do full underbody downforce dynamics and instead fudge it by turning tyre grip way up or something, and the AI won’t be able to extract its potential like a player would, thus putting it somewhere in P.
Turn 10 said in the past that PI is calculated by simulating an AI driven lap around a hypothetical circuit .
If the AI driver sets a slower time, that’s a lower PI. This is why some builds are more competitive than others at the same PI level, as the player can extract more performance out of them than the AI that was used to benchmark the figures.
The Speirling generates performance in a different way to pretty much every other car in Forza, so there’s a non-zero chance that Turn 10 will get it wrong and the car will end up with a lower initial PI than it should have.
Well its going to have insane grip at very low speeds, insane acceleration, potentially best in game, but i think the top speed is only around 300 kph.
Its the topspeed that makes it an interesting question imo, and whether or not they can properly simulate 2000lbs downforce at 0 mph hahaha. Can’t wait to hear what it sounds like
Reminder that the Valkyrie released with a fuel tank the size of an oil tanker… I’d think that such a highly anticipated car would have some extra attention paid to it, but we can never know for sure
