Can we please have a proper forecasting system, be it a HUD option or the crew chief telling us rain is expected? I’ve been caught out by the 50/50 on the Indy Road Course more than once this week, and it’s impossible to tell how the weather will function after I pit.
One race I was fighting for first 20s ahead of 3rd when we both stop on lap 4/8 for fresh Mediums and once we’re out on pit road about to take turn 1, pouring rain. Threw away a perfectly good 1-2 because the slower cars behind us could see the rain coming and didn’t have to do a wet lap on Mediums.
Change your thread tags from horizon to Motorsport otherwise it won’t be seen in the right place

It’s been a few months since it was posted but I would like to add to the votes and keep it active. A weather radar would be a great addition and add some more strategy to the race - I guess it wouldn’t hurt to have more races with a bit more dynamic changes alongside the radar.
Weather Radar and Dynamic Weather
Weather radar can be used mid race to check if rain clouds, Thunderstorms, Heavy rain, or Rainstorms are approaching allowing the player to adjust for changes in driving conditions.
For dynamic weather, a race can start from sunny and dry to wet and rainy so the player must change their tire strategy to ensure a win. Also, weather can vary depending where it is specifically on the track or how big the track is.
