First off i typed this on my phone that has lots of cracks on the screen so im sorry for any mis-spelling. I have been an on and off racer in the R3 / S class races online since FM4. Was extremely competitive in R3 FM4 class for the entire duration of the game, top 100 on alot of tracks in a very non leaderboard car (08 Viper ACR) which was super hard in that game. So i was very excited to see mugello, suzuka etc coming back because i threw i B**** fit when they werent in the latest games.
So im pumped! Many excellent tracks are coming back! The game looks incredible! Sounds like there fixing the linear single player! Yes!!!.. Till i looked closer to the trailer. Viper ACR NON extreme aero package… Why would you put the base ACR in the game? im assuming with full interior and non sticky tires. Just a complete middle finger to any Viper lover like me. Its like being able to drive a porsche from the launch game… Just to only be able to drive 1 lap and then run outta gas. Is this terrible thing fixable turn 10? Can we stop worrying about Ferraris for one day and throw a bone to hardcore Forza Veteran??

I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree, because I think people who freak out over not having the exact trim level and option package they want in the game deserve to be mocked. The world isn’t going to rearrange itself to cater to his delicate sensibilities.

Based on your description, the base ACR with race tires and race weight reduction has you covered, although the latter sadly doesn’t visually make the changes it says it does in the description.
I know you can upgrade tires etc unfortunately cars in forza dont really change much from there stock form, even when fully upgraded. You could take, say a 2016 mustang and a 2016 mustang 350R and fully modify both of them. They should have identical handling, braking, etc capabilities. But the base model will have high 5s for handling etc and the 350R will have high 6s which is the difference between entire PI classes. Which is why i think its important to release the highest tier of every car.
Dude, I’m a huge Dodge/Mopar fan. Have a '15 Challenger SRT at that. So I love Dodge and their products more than most seeing as I have actually invested my time and money into it, the Viper ACR in my love for Dodge. And I’m not even tripping out over it. You’re literally freaking out because it doesn’t have a certain PACKAGE. It’s not like there isn’t the ACR, its because it doesn’t have the Extreme Aero package that you’re crying foul at Turn 10. Are you joking dude? The game is disappointing you, and that its a "terrible thing. Or that Turn 10 is giving us Viper fans the middle finger. That’s absolutely ludicrous to say. And how its akin to getting a Porsche but running out of gas on the first lap, is absolutely beyond me.
Just because it’s not in the trailer doesn’t mean it’s not in the finished game. It’s like saying any car or track not in the trailer or demos must not be in the game. Great logic there.
I just guess that you’ll have to do the same like most people do. Just wait for the release and all minor important issues will be instantly solved Mr. YOU THE YOU HAVOK YOU. Pun intended.
We don’t even have half of the car list revealed yet. Particularly in regards to American cars after 1969, which are yet to be announced in Forza Garage, I bet it’s the very next Monday given they recently covered 21st century cars from Europe and Japan.
Same goes for what might be the available bodykit options and customization for said American cars.
Are you kidding me?! A middle finger to Viper fans, nope, sorry I don’t share that sentiment and the Viper is one of my favorite cars as well. Honestly, the original RT/10 and first-gen GTS would be much more useful and have been requested more than an ACR performance package.
As other people have said, we don’t have the full car list and basing your entire post on the lack of a certain car in a media demo is ridiculous.
If you dont dont point out the flaws, then more then likely wont be changed, just pointing out some flaws that effect any serious racer. Involving much more then the only car i want to race. If you dont like it, u internet tuff guys can go find something better to do. But you dont so i feel,bad for you.
It’s not a flaw, at all, and it definitely doesn’t affect the serious racers as they can take any car they want and make it perform how they want. It doesn’t need to be the top tier model or trim level, some of the guys on here can take a base model BMW and make it perform better than the performance model.
Just because a car you want isn’t in the game, doesn’t make it a flaw.
Speaking of flaws, I have corrected and bolded those in that were in your post. Hopefully, they will be changed.
How is it a flaw having a different spec of ACR Viper to the one you want? It is still an ACR Viper and not an ACR Lada, you can make the high downforce version in game using the upgrade parts, maybe the OEM aero parts will also be available, but we don’t know until the game is released. If you are seriosly going to not buy the game because of the ACR Viper being the wrong spec for what you want then I don’t know what to tell you, as the other games coming out aren’t featuring the ACR from what’s been shown but who knows, maybe Turn 10 will bring back the ACR-X from the First Horizon(was it Horizon 1 or Forza 4 I can’t remember I know one of those had it).
So by your logic, there should have been a huge outcry because, say, the Porsche 918 wasn’t in the Weissach trim when it came to FM6?
I’d say it’s safe to assume that you’re over reacting. It’s not a big deal. It’s a video game. I’m happy with either trim levels of the ACR - and it’s a car I very much have a soft spot for.
There’s no flaw, T10 have differing reasons for the choice of car. It could be that the ““base”” level ACR was more requested than the other, it could be copyright reasons. The fact is, we don’t know the how’s nor why’s, but we should be grateful it’s in the game full stop.
