What happens when you give VW engineering team a free hand to create a concept based on Golf and almost unlimited supply of psychedelic drugs? They create this. It loosely looks like Mk5 Golf GTI. But that’s where the similarities with car you could buy in showroom ends.
Powered by Twin Turbo 6 litre W12 from Bentley Continental, this mid-engined RWD super hot hatch can reach 100 kph in impressive 3.7 seconds and go all the way to 325 kph. Yes that’s correct. You won’t find this monstrous 650 PS engine under the front hood. VW engineers had to move behind the front seats (in result of that, W12 has just 2 seats).
