Series 6 finished after some great hard fought battles during all 8 races, crowning new champions. Now Series 7 is live and all the action will start once again! This time even with a bigger car list! That’s right, cars from 1994 are added to list, meaning you can now choose from 155 cars. Will the new champion go with a car from 1994, like the Nissan 240SX SE? Or drive a proven car like the Ford Escort RS Cosworth or the Lamborghini Miura P400? Only time will tell! One thing is for sure, winning won’t be easy!
Racing on Forza Motorsport 4 on Saturdays at 14:00 CST / 20:00 GMT / 06:00 AEST, the series will feature circuits that mix speed, acceleration and handling to ensure every car will be able to have at least one strong race amongst a field of exceptional machinery. Starting in Germany at the Hockenheimring, then we fly to North America for Road America and Infineon Raceway. Then back to Europe, to race at Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe in France, followed by Circuit de Catalunya in Spain and the last, but not least of the European races, the Green Hell, also called Nürburgring Nordschleife. For the seventh round we go back to the USA for Road Atlanta. We finish the series in Japan, at Suzuka Circuit.
Series 7 will feature 4 championships to contest, with all drivers being entered into at least 2. All drivers will participate in the Drivers Championship but away from this, they will also do battle in either the Teams or Privateers Championship, depending on their entry situation. Finally, for all drivers new to the event, they will be placed into the Rookies Championship.
Working alongside Turn 10, the series is officially sponsored and will feature DLC, in-game credits and gift cars to be won by the drivers. Those skilled, or lucky enough to finish in the top 10 of the Drivers Championship will earn themselves a share of the credits available, with the overall winner of the Championship also a unicorn car of their choice or a DLC pack too. Not only that, the top 5 in the Teams, Privateers and Rookies Championships will receive a share of the credits, with the winners in each receiving a choice of either a unicorn car or a DLC pack. In addition, for all drivers that complete the series with 100% attendance (attending 7 out of 8 races), a random draw will take place to determine who receives either a unicorn car or a DLC pack.
Series 7 of Classics event will begin on the 25th January with the series finale on the 15th March. 8 rounds of racing against a wide variety of cars will leave the final result a complete guessing game.
