Announcing VM Challenge Series 2!

Virtual Motorsports enters the world of GT Racing in our latest Forza 5 Series, which offers a very different take on the usual 8 week racing series we have all become accustomed to. The Virtual Motorsports Challenge Series 2 invites all participants to compete using all four selected GT models, but will leave the choice of who races what entirely down to the choice of you, the racer. The only rule for car choice is that the VM Challenge Series 2 builds are adhered to and that each model is used a maximum of twice throughout the Series per person.

Racing on Forza Motorsport 5 on Thursdays at 14:00 CDT / 20:00 BST / 06:00 AEST, the series will feature iconic racing circuits from around the world, starting at Road Atlanta Full. It’s straight off to Australia for the second leg of the Series as we head to Mount Panorama Bathurst, followed by Indianapolis GP for Race 3. Not content with epic iconic circuits? Race 4 takes us to Road America as we let the GT engines open right up on the Road America Straight. Spa-Francorchamps will host Race 5 before heading off for Race 6 at Le Mans Circuit de la Sarthe. Race 7 will lead us to The “GREEN HELL” at Nurburgring Nordschleife before we close the Series at the street circuit of Long Beach Grand Prix!

Series 2 will feature 4 championships to contest, with all drivers being entered into at least 2. All drivers will participate in the Drivers Championship but away from this, they will also do battle in either the Teams or Privateers Championship, depending on their entry situation. The fourth and final Championship will be for Rookie’s, those drivers who did not compete in the VM Challenge Series 1.

Working alongside Turn 10, the series is officially sponsored and will feature DLC and in-game credits to be won by the drivers. Those skilled, or lucky enough to finish in the top 10 of the Drivers Championship will earn themselves a share of the credits available. As well as one lucky participant selected at random who has completed at least 7 out of 8 races overall will win a Forza 5 DLC Code of his choice.

Series 2 of VM Challenge event will begin on the 18th September with the series finale on the 6th November. 8 rounds of racing the GT cars whilst being able to sample all 4 beautiful machines without the fear of choosing the ‘right’ car for all 8 weeks, let the Challenge ensue!

Sounds interesting. Do you have any YouTube videos uploaded with any of your past FM5 league events?

EDIT:
Nevermind, I found it by following your link. However, all I see is 2minute, 50sec clips. Do you have any real race videos up with players from your leagues?

Anything with announcers commentating on the race?

Or is my noob self expecting too much. Lol.

After watching the iracing nascar tournament, I’m hooked on announcers when watching a race. Nothing like it!

Sorry I didn’t see this reply when it came up

We have some users who capture their entire race via capture card or stream via twitch, but nothing with the complexity of a full race commentary. It takes a lot of time to put something like that together and I applaud those who do put some of those amazing video’s together

Dominic Mako recaps some good Super Taikyu races in this thread: http://virtual-motorsports.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=405&t=5901

But apart from that, I just tend to capture opening lap action. This Series starts tomorrow, hope to see plenty of people on the grid!
