VIP Pass

I hope this question is not redundant, but is the VIP pass worth the money? I am contemplating on whether purchasing it or not for myself, however I haven’t heard much about it. Any suggestions/comments?

Here is the official wording on what VIP provides

“VIPs will receive additional benefits, including double race earnings, access to exclusive online events, community gifts”

By community gifts, it means every now and then (every month?) Turn 10 gifts you a car with a special livery

You also get the VIP car pack: 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale, 2012 Aston Martin V12 Zagato, 2013 Lamborghini Veneno, 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R, and the 1997 McLaren F1

If any of this interests you then I’d say it would be worth it, if not then I wouldn’t get it

That is it pretty much. The gifted cars are not new but have a special livery. This can be great if it is an expensive car you do not have.

The extra credits are awesome. It means car and parts purchases aren’t a big hit to your money.

The VIP cars are all great in my opinion and you get them free in game.

The events are at a minimum monthly rivals events exclusive to VIP members. Rival hot lapping is one of the best ways to earn credits.

I have found it to be worth it in every release of FM. I do miss the extra XP from FM5 though.

Thank you! I like the idea of getting new cars once a month, as long as they are different cars than what can already be purchased.

They’re the same cars, but with a special livery.

It’s the first I’ve taken VIP and only for the in game credits, I found it worthy. Now I can buy any car and try tunes without worrying about credit issues.

Also the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350R and the 1997 McLaren F1 are awesome. I’ve not really tried the others.

I wouldn’t buy it for the potential gifted cars. Generally the gifted cars stop after a few months - or at least they have in the past. I think I have received 2 so far since launch though. I don’t think I personally would have bought VIP but it came with the limited ed version for me. I guess the extra credits are nice but credits seem somewhat easy to come by especially if you redeem rewards (above or through the Forza app) regularly. But I see you are tier 2 so the reward will be lower for you. But if you do a lot of racing, redeem your rewards regularly, and get a few lucky wheel spins, you won’t need VIP.

I have bought it and found the credit given to you has been a lot more.

so what is better, VIP Pass or Car pass, me too confused :-/

VIP Pass gives you the VIP perks in-game along with the VIP Car pack.

The Car Pass is essentially a discount on the first 6 DLC monthly packs released.

If you have to choose, the Car pass is better value for money since you’re getting more new content.

For me, the biggest reasons to purchase the VIP pass were the 2x credits every race and the ability to play a week early. Obviously the opportunity to play a week early has long come and gone, so you’re down to a few extra cars and the 2x credits as a reason to purchase the VIP.

the best thing for me was the access to the VIP rival events

vip= more cars, do you want 250lm, do you want new cars that come later?

hmmmn, so the car pass only gets 6 montly dlc car packs? then what after that? i feel the vip pass will make you get more cars & tuning will always be bit easier. Leaning to get the VIP Pass now.

I believe as a VIP member you can also share double the number of your car liveries you’ve created. You earn $500 per livery downloaded ( which doesn’t sound like much) but it adds up. I had 483 liveries downloaded on Monday so it can help out in the bank account quickly too!

Basically the VIP Pass enables you to earn credits at a far quicker rate.

I bought both passes cause Forza 6 console, game and all dlc was a treat to myself.

If I was only buying one of the two it would be the car pass. More cars=More fun!

I actually sold my PS4 version of F1 2015 so I could get the V.I.P pass for this, just feels like it’s worth it to me plus I’m not really parting with extra money per say so it’s almost a no brainer!

F1 2015 was a pretty poor game so the V.I.P Pass was a good option. It has some fun cars in that pass. I’m trading in F1 2015 and horizon 2 so I can get that porsche dlc when that comes out… I haven’t played F1 2015 since forza 6 came out
