VIP and game sharing on Xbox Series X

Hello,

I used to play with FH4 on my Xbox One X, with two accounts on the same console: mine and my wife’s.
I have bougth the Ultimate Edition, and we were both VIPs.

After migration to Xbox Series X, only my account is VIP. My wife is not VIP anymore, however she can still use the DLCs.
When we go back to Xbox One X, she becomes VIP again.

Is it a bug related to Xbox Series X?
I specify that none of these consoles are set as home console.

I expect setting one console as a home console will sort that issue out. A home console allows other users to utilise games and add-ons from other users.

Exactly, you need to have home console for sharing. I play with myself (two accounts) which is not possible without home.

Thanks for your answer. I will try.
However, I find it weird that my Xbox One X is not home console, but I can share accounts on it.
Moreover, both accounts can use the other DLCs (Lego, fortune Island) on my Series X without home console. Only the VIP is missing.

Do you share accounts on Xbox Series X?
As many game DLCs have bugs on Series X, I wonder if this issue can come from Series X.

You will probably find that your xbone X was set as your home console without you realising it
Since you need it set as your home console to share on that as well…or have your account signed in while she was playing on it

I’m having this problem as well. I made my Series X my home console but things like the VIP pass and a few others aren’t applying to my account even though they show as downloaded on my console. My cars are showing up in my garage and upgraded but I can’t use them. I’m also not getting wheelspins or bonuses like I used to. This is frustrating.

If you can play online, you have shared Gold. If you can play the games, you have shared games. If Forza doesn’t work, it could be something with Forza and XSX. For instance, many poeple lost frull crown icon on main accounts with XSX as me.

LOL, and you can’t connect to online session on XSX too. But it works on X1.

Has anyone managed to resolve this issue?

I previously had 3 Xbox Ones in my household and 3 users, User 1 owned FH4 Ultimate and was installed on XB1, All users had full access when playing on XB1, they also had full access on XB2 and XB3 as long as User 1 was logged in.

We have all upgraded to Series X, and now we can only access the VIP and Car packs etc on the Home Xbox, even if User 1 is logged on to the others, Autoshow cars state they are owned, but it takes you to purchase the car pass if you try and select any.

Currently re-installing to see if this has any impact but would appreciate if anyone has managed to fix this or has further information
