Okay, this might have been asked and answered before but here goes.
I have an XB1. My son has an XB1. Both consoles are in the same household. I have the digital versions of Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2; he has the disc versions. We both have ALL of the DLC purchased for both games on both consoles individually, including VIP on both games on both profiles. This question applies to the DIGITAL versions, but also to future games and DLC such as Forza 6.
Here is what I want to do.

Put MY profile on my son’s console, passworded so he cannot use my profile. HIS console will be listed as my HOME console (so that my digital versions of FM5 and FH2 and all DLC will be available to him). This way he won’t need to use the discs anymore.

Put HIS profile on my console, passworded so I cannot use his profile. MY console will be listed as his HOME console (so that he can share his Xbox Live subscription with me).
Because I own the licenses for all the DLC and digital versions of FM5 and FH2, will he be able to use that on HIS console (which will be MY home console)? And will I be able to use his Xbox Live ‘shared’ on my console, with it listed as HIS home console? And most importantly - can we BOTH be online at the same time, accessing each other’s paid-for content without issues? In other words - HE will be using my digital version of FM5, while I am also using the digital version of FM5 because my profile OWNS the license for it, but HIS console is my “home” console with the license on it?
I’m just trying to figure out if this will work because I’m tired of “double paying” if I don’t have to. From what I’m reading on the Xbox Live rules and terms of service, it seems like this is absolutely and 100% legit and legal and considered “fair use”. I’m just wondering if any of YOU have actually done this and had no issues with it. Thanks!
