Vignette effect at night - please offer the option to turn this off

Idk. Maybe because i use HDR10 instead of dolbyvision? The color depth in xbox settings say 10-bit but i can set to 8, 10, or 12.

Well I don’t know exactly what the Xbox uses. You can’t choose between 4:4:4 or 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 or RGB and FULL RGB?

Theres an option that says “allow 4:2:2” but that’s it.

Yeah I can see it fade out briefly but don’t have any issues with it in game, got a really good monitor

I don’t use HDR cause it’s a pain in the butt with W10 plus it’s not really my thing

I just use the g-sync and free sync, monitor supports both and just let it do its thing

HDR is great. I couldn’t imagine playing Cyberpunk 2077 without it.

I’m running a 2080TI so leave quite a bit off, Cyberpunk 2077 runs great tho, waiting for the 50 series cards to see what they can do before I upgrade. Cards are so expensive you might as well run them for years before you drop thousands

I also wait for 50xx series. I still have a good old ASUS TUF GAMING RTX 3080 OC.

But apparently the RTX 5080 only has a 192 Bit memory bandwith.

All the 80’s from 20 on are great, they do the job if you’re not interested in full RT. I don’t think RT is worth the power you use

I haven’t used RT yet, the 3080 is too weak for such things. I mean sure I tested it and it looks great. But it’s not worth it if I can’t have good FPS with it activated.

Alone the thought of playing CP2077 all maxed out with RT and pathtracing makes me drool. It already looks god like with regular RT. If I activate all of that I only get like 5 FPS lol. But yeah it looks divine.

I reckon the 50 series will have RT down to a tee cause there’s not much else to sell the card on, tho they did the same thing on the 40’s 30’ and 20’s :expressionless:

RT performance will be significantly improved that is for sure.

50xx series might be the first where it’s really worth it to activate RT.

This is ONLY an issue in Forza Motorsport. All other Xbox games look flawless.

GTA V and Far Cry 6 both also have BRANDED in effects on the screen. But they are very subtle, you barely notice them, but I do. LG OLED is great in many ways but also a burden, because you see EVERY mistake they create.

In GTA V and Far Cry 6 the problem is different, there you can see green and red lines on the screen. I first thought my LG OLED is having problems, but it’s the same, I could SEE the red and green lines in a screenshot on my other monitor. If you can see the same problem on several screens/monitors/tv’s it IS A GENERAL PROBLEM!

Same for QLED. Every little misgiving is clear as daylight, lol

No idea what QLED means but I assume it’s very similar to OLED. So yes everybody sees the problem.

It’s the next best thing you can get to OLED. Were you on Mars all this time? How’s the dust there?:sweat_smile:

QLED stands for Quantum LED as in quantum dots. So thr color depth, accuracy, contrast, black levels and brightness is unmatched - well, not next to OLED. But for brighter lighting conditions direct lit QLED is the best thing you can get.

Let’s just assume it does the same thing.

I love my OLED I guess your QLED is the same thing. It’s just another name for it.

Voted. :+1:

I would like an optional setting to keep cars always looking immaculate on track.

Please let players optionally disable visible damage and optionally disable the grit/dirt that builds up on cars while driving.
