Hi have 1.2 million credits, which car out of the veyron or the p1 is the best allrounder.
Many thanks
Our club name on Forza Horizon 2 is M & B Autosports people can join this club no problem we are easy going willing to learn and on most of the time so you will always have people to cruise with.
I bought the Veryon in this game. In Forza 5, the P1 was a pleasant joy. It was fast but it handled so well. I’d imagine the P1 in FH2 is just as splendid as it was before. In this.’
They Veyron is fast and very powerful so it’s easy to take leads early on, of course that’s if you don’t crash. It does handle pretty well though its not the best by any means when compared to other hypercars.
In spite buying the Veyron, I think it would be smart to get the P1 first just because it handles much better and it is still a fast machine. Then again, a Veryon isn’t all that bad of a choice either, especially if you’re a decent driver.
If you go with the Bugatti learn how to drive it properly so people have no reason to hate you. This is not directed at you but is a general comment as there is a reason why the Bugatti haters exist.
My hate for the veyron doesn’t stem from poor driving habits, it’s the fact that it’s the go to car for people with too much money who know nothing about cars who want to go fast.
The amount of people that drive them online as a status symbol is ridiculous. Although I guess it’s easy to pick out those with poor vehicular taste.
The P1 hasn’t run a lap on the Top Gear Test Track yet, though I want it to. However, you will note that the Veyron isn’t the fastest eligible road car around the track; not even the Veyron Super Sport. It’s beaten by a handful of supposedly inferior cars. One of the slower cars that beat the Veyron Super Sport is the McLaren MP4-12C. The McLaren P1 is better than the 12C.
Top speed and even speed plus acceleration aren’t all that there is to a car’s performance. If it was, the Veyron would’ve topped the Top Gear test track times. Millions of people drool over Veyron spec sheets without understanding that. There’s really very few places on Earth where a Veyron can beat a P1 in a circuit races, and those few places aren’t even race tracks. You’d basically need a several-mile straight or a huge round test track like the Nardo Ring. Veyron can’t even beat a P1 at a superspeedway because Daytona or Talladega wouldn’t be big enough.
This, this right here! Enough people don’t understand that no matter how much of a scientific marvel the Veyron is, it is by far not the best racing car for several reasons.
Since this is between the Veyron and the McLaren P1 and you didn’t get the P1 as a Tier Reward, I would buy the P1. It’s an amazing car and does rather well. It’s easy to control the rear end, it brakes very well and takes corners with incredible finesse. The Veyron can’t even come close unless you have an incredible tune or are simply using it for the handful of flat out top speed Speed Traps.
If you were to look to other cars, I would look at the Noble or the Pagani Huayra (if it’s a Hypercar). The Noble is pretty sweet and drives extremely well.
Go P1. The Veyron isn’t a “sportscar” really, it’s a highway cruiser with hypercar stats. The Henessey Venom is a barbarian, harder to control than the Colorado River.
The P1 is the most capable of the three, though not the fastest. Veneno and LaFerrari are worth a shot too.
Thankyou all so much, I will go with the p1.
I will then look at the options once I get a little more credits.
I find credits quite hard to accumulate even with the vip pass I have.
Not many people go for the veyron as per your comments so I guess getting a good tune is hard for me as I have to race with all assists on, I enjoy the game better that way.
P1 will probly have some good tunes for it, I will look at some of the shared tunes to see if theres a good one for me on there?
This forum is a wealth of knowledge thankyou all so much.
I haven’t bought the Veyron yet, but I’d get the Veneno, either Pagani, or perhaps the La Ferrari before the Veyron if you’re looking for something to race. If you want to cruise or go for straight line speed, nothing wrong with the Veyron. It’ll take a course well for its size, but it is a heavy beast and can’t top those other cars around a more technical course.
Surprisingly pleased to find people here defending the fact that you need vehicles that are easy to grip and control as well.
Going to say the P1 because while the Veyron has a great top-speed you will find your self colliding with trees and committing acts that would result in penalties on a track all too-often if you plan on flooring it, unless you find a tune-setup that could counteract the lack of control - most of which involve lowering the top speed to controllable levels.
I drive an AWD 6.2 Liter Twin Turbo VW bus in S2 class with about 900 horsepower and no aero upgrades. The car was free and the upgrades weren’t that expensive and I can land third place online fairly consistently with it. If you’re looking to turn heads there’s nothing better than showing up in a car that doesn’t belong and stomping the competition with it.
I’d have the P1 out of the two you put up, but don’t rule out the LaFerrari as a contender, it has the same rating as the P1 and it handles very very well.
Either way though, find me online and I’ll show you how a 1960s 23 window German Beer Can can beat both of those cars with relative ease.
Personally I think that the S2 class is not very entertaining online as everyone spends just as long crashing as they do racing trying to brake late for corners.
